Horrible customer service, I thought I was fortunate to live nearby, I drove 30 minutes the the Ohio location after calling ahead and asking if they mounted tires brought in, they said yes. When I got there they refused because of the "liability." Luckily there is a Honda dealership a couple hundred yards down the road that mounted for $30.00. Ive shopped there a couple times before and have always come across too few customer reps with zero knowledge of the cheap stuff they are trying to sell. By cheap I mean total bare bones aftermarket parts. There are a million other outlets on the internet for good quality parts. I guess if you want a single chromed exhaust for twenty bucks youre going to get what you pay for. Same goes for the cheap clothing that rips at the seams in less than a year if you do any sort of serious riding. Dont be fooled by price, if its too good of a deal there is a reason why.

I am familiar with the Customer Service operations at Shade Tree. The Customer Service staff will do anything possible to assist callers and to provide a satisfactory experience. To the reviewer who said that he/she was told Shade Tree had 7 in stock, and then had zero in the Ohio location...it is important, when asking about stock, to mention WHERE one plans to visit a Shade Tree store location. The majority of orders are shipped out, so to merely call in and ask, "Do you have Part Number NN-NNN in stock?" will get an answer of the amount of stock, in any and all Shade Tree locations. In other words, any stock in any warehouse is shippable. If you plan to visit a store location, calling first for inventory is wise. But be sure to mention at which store you will be shopping. I am sure that Shade Tree regrets the confusion.

I would not recommend ordering from this company! In December 2009 I placed an order via telephone. The next day they said there was a problem processing the payment. I gave them the information again. Well 3 days later I received a harassing phone call stating my order would be canceled due to my inability to pay!! This of course raised concerns. I contacted my bank and they said the money was there...after several phone calls and conference calls it was determined that the CSR had transcribed the expiration date!! The ladies I worked with were rude, hung up on me, and showed complete disrespect for customers (including the supervisor)!!! They promised to send a gift card for my inconvenience still havent seen that! The kicker a jacket I ordered was defective...ugh I will never order from these people again!

Excellent customer service! Even though i had NO CLUE what part number i needed, the technical term for it, the customer service reps ( i spoke with a few) were very helpful and kind in helping me out. They told me that most people who call in dont have part numbers and some just describe a problem theyre having with the engine! I wasnt SO helpless, but they really put in the extra effort to help me find what i was looking for. Cant wait to do some shopping here in Moto season!!!

Drove 3 hours for 2 tires they told me they had in stock. They only actually had 1 in stock when I got there. No discount, and the owner (Jeff?) told me I would have to pay shipping to have it shipped to me. In the time it took them to unsuccessfully search their inventory, I was on the phone with a rep from Dennis Kirk who had the tires cheaper, and offered me free shipping on the order. Dont mess around with these clowns

I have dealt with this place several times and all seems to be the same I called ahead for a part and they said they have 7 in stock , I get there and it is out of stock. It is worth it to take a father drive to a shop that knows what they are doing and the parts they sell than to deal with those idiots that work there. Bad bad bad never going back

Very helpfull .just remember when you call the newbury store and they say we have it in stock .they dont know where youre at . Ask them if they have it in newbury .they do have more than one store .
