I took my son to your store on Sunday afternoon to spend his birthday money. He look for about an hour to find this one BB gun he wanted. As my family was getting ready to check out he decided to make sure the one he had spent so much time looking for cost what it said under the shelf. When he asked the sales associate to check he did and of course it was more than he had planed on. We asked to speak to the Manager and he came over only to continously answer the cell phone. We explained the situation and hoped he would help us get this mess straightned out. They could not even find a place on any shelf for this gun. It really dissapoints and huts you as a parent when your child has there heart set on something and is almost in tears because of there mistake.We were in this store way longer than we should of been. And in the end he got a bb gun but not the one he really wanted. I must say i was not impressed with any of the help they sent to us. I was very dissapointed and unpleased with my shopping experiance. Plus i hate that my son was so dissapointed and heart broken.

A really big, big box store. It is neat and clean. They have a front door greeter who can direct you to the items you want. Prices are not a bargain unless the item is on special.The employees seem happy and they do jump in to help you. The shift manager who was there when I was there was power hungry. I looked at a 14 ft. kayak. The salesperson helping me was very good. The manager gave him a hard time in front of me because I helped get the boat out of the display. The "manager" sure didnt have any leadership skills. The people who work at REI know their sports and equipment much more in drpth.

These people are the rudest people I have ever met.I had a very bad shopping experience on 08/05/17.The people at the counter of guns and ammunition are the rudest people,I approached the counter and was inquiring about a gun and the gentleman there said he was not a member yet and was unable to help me.so another associate came and he was so rude and hateful.There was a manager there I spoke to named Aaron and she said she would address the situation,I will never shop there again.

FIRST TIME visitor in this store. We were sold a shoe without the other match. We waited patiently for the other mate (shoe) to found and no luck. The employee stated "I looked everywhere and couldnt find it. Im sorry." Then walked away...did NOT offer help to find another brand shoe. They will not get my service here again!!!!! Was just offered a 5% discount. Lames!!!

This place is nice for finding outdoor games and activities. Unfortunately they seem to have problems with their computer system keeping up with correct information on their stock. I have tried several times to buy things that I am told show up in stock, but dont exist in the store. Someone should fix this!

Quality products at sort-of-ok prices. The selection is less than best at times. They could do better at keeping merchandise more presentable. Dont be fooled by clearance items--too often only slightly discounted from the manufacturers suggested price--which is way too high.

OMG... Simply amazing! I had an out of body experience looking at the hats and socks! You must put this place on your bucket list! Has to be one of the greatest wonders of the world! Hahaha just went there to get waterproof stuff for my jacket and bought a fishing lure.

Huge store with a lot of great deals. We went looking for some tubes to float down river but sadly they were out of stock since it was the end of the summer season. My friend has a set of academy branded tubes and they seem pretty durable so well try again next year.

They have decent prices. I got a new bow for my birthday and took it here to get fixed up. I got a bunch of new stuff for it. It was expensive, but alot less than it wouldve been if i went somewhere else. I got am awesome sight for $21 that was originally $40.

Academy Sports is one of those stores where I can accidentally spend way more then I originally intended. They have great selections for everything and prices arent crazy high. The quality of their products is better than the super store across the street.

Online "Store Locator" function is a BAD experience. Apparently tells you nothing if theres no store in the area of your search.....just leaves you wondering. Why would you design something that just pisses customers off?

Customer service is good. Nice and friendly employees. Selection of sneakers was ok. Selection of clothing was ok. Selection of sports equipment was better. Great prices though. Ill check them out again sometime.

Everyone is always very helpful as long as you ask for help. Not too many times that I have been there that someone walks up to me and asks if I need help. However, the greeter is always willing to assist!
