The worst place ive ever been in my life seriously! It isnt clean and the way they recieve there donations are trucks filled with junk literally clothes mixed with dishes and whatever else is thrown into the bag or on the truck. The furniture smells and is extremely filthy. They are extremely over priced for stuff that someone gave to them and as i said before the quality of the stuff they have is awful. It always smells like urine. They take the stuff right off the trucks and put it on the shelves. Then allow people to try the stuff on. Ive seen bed bugs and roaches inside the store. The managers are extremely rude and not at all helpful. They are lazy and treat there employees like slaves and talk to them like their trash. I think those people are evil and the employees are way under paid this place needs to be shut down or investigated immediately!!!! I honestly believe half the comments on here are fake from the managers and their families to keep their fraudulent business booming. Any person in there right mind who has been to this valley thrift store knows im not lying about what ive seen in there.

I love this store! Not sure what others expect from a THRIFT store, but I like this one. There are signs on the ends of the aisles indicating what is on the rack and most clothing items are arranged by size so the organization is fine for me. I think there is a bit more room in the aisles than other thrift stores Ive been too and I always seem to find decent clothes at great prices, especially on 25% off day. I love when I get compliments and get to say, "Thanks, $1.00....thrift store." Ive used the fitting room and it was clean with no line when I was there. In my opinion, the clothes here are lower priced than Goodwill or St. Vincent de Paul, unless you happen to find a high-end brand name. I just got a Nautica sweater for $2.00. My only complaint may be the long lines that accumulate at the registers, but they try to keep many registers open and what can you do when people have cart loads of things? I dont recall ever having rude or bad service from the staff either. I would agree with another reviewer that there is little in the way of furniture, but I love this place for clothing.

Idk what everyone on here is complaining about. As far as thrift stores go this is the Cadillac of thrift stores. A. Its absolutely massive and houses an utterly massive selection of anything from clothes to shoes to furniture and electronics. B. The prices are beyond cheap. You can find pants here for 9¢. Yes. $0.09. Everyone here hobo bad reviews is just upset because theyre comparing a thrift store to a real store. Yes its understaffed, yes its not the most glamorous place, and yes there are no refunds. But its a thrift store; not target. They have some really good finds, and they have the best prices. Also on any holiday the entire store is half off (come early!). Its like a thrift store warehouse. Amazing.

Went for the first time today. Wasnt impressed with it. Boys and girls clothing, sizes 0-6, are all mixed up so theres a lot to go through. Then after all the looking, Id find a nice pair of jeans and theyd be 7$! Thats ridiculous for a used pair of little boy jeans! Ive never seen a thrift store like that have such high prices on child clothing. There were a few cheaper things mixed in, but hardly worth the trouble going through it all to find them. Some toys had ridiculous prices on them also. Will think about going again if they lower their prices or at least organize the clothing to make it more simple to go in quickly and look.

I love to go to Valley Thrift Store in Fairfield. It is one of the largest thrift stores I have ever been in. It is much nicer than when it was in Hamilton. I shop for knick knacks, seasonal items, tables, lamps and much more. Ive never seen bed bugs crawling on anything in the store. I wouldnt buy anything upholstered like couches, chairs or beds at a thrift store anyway. To me, the prices are fair. I have seen some things overly priced but they are no where near as expensive as the Goodwill Stores or the Salvation Army Thrift stores.

Valley Thrift is an experience. The stuff you can get there is worth the adventure but dont go unless youre willing to truly dedicate some time to finding what you need. The clothing section of the store is loosely organized enough that walking up and down the aisles lets you get some good steps in on your fitbit, but if you go to the store searching for one specific item- get ready to hunt and possibly leave without that item but in turn youll have 30 other things you didnt even know you needed!

The book section has been ruined! They now put the colored prices stickers over the title to the books...lol . If you want the book hopefully the sticker has been put on a book cover you can throw away! If the sticker is on the book you can peel it off and also peel off part of the title to the book...lol. If you manage to peel off the sticker without peeling off the title you can forget putting it in a bookshelf because it will stick to the book next to it!! Let management know this problem!

Valley Thrift you must be out of your mind!!!! It wasnt always this expensive for clothing! Might as well shop at a department store for new items! Shame on you, it would be hard for those who are on a budget to afford most of the prices you have on your clothing. Used be one of my go to stores, dont think I will be making a visit back any time soon. To think these items are donations too! You need to have a meeting with your staff or whomever is marking your prices.

This is the best thrift store I have ever visited. Prices start at $.09 and holidays are 50% off. Items are priced fairly and it is easy to find a "hidden treasure." Go often as the stock is constantly changing. Items are relatively clean when purchased, though occasionally theyre a bit questionable. Im not even going to mark off stars for that or their consistently broken carts because if they spent the money to fix it I bet their prices would go up.

For a thrift store this one is like a super market. Weve been to all three valley thift stores but this one is by far my favorite. More than enough parking unlike the other two. Very good selection of clothing and odds and ins. Its a thirft store so of course not everything is like New or nearly new, but its fun to shop at. We love finding the bargains starting at $0.09! Wanna check out a thirft store and your near the area check this one out

I go to your Fairfield store I like the prices but when it comes to something not priced they refuse to price it until the following day even when the pricing team is there. I live on the other side of town and do not make trips over there all the time, I wasted my time and my gas to be turned down. This happens alot and someone told me that he has come across this alot to. This is not good customer service, and I feel you dont care .
