Ive been going to the store pretty regularly over the past year, it seems their selection of games and movies rarely changes. The arcade on the other hands does change and it seems like they are always adding something new to it. Growing up with an atari and NES Im always at home browsing the selection of games. The customer service is lacking, most of the time they do seem to just stare blankly as I walk in and seem to be always playing some video game or watching some movie instead of concentrating on helping customers. There have been two occasions where Ive gone in about 10 minutes until closing and felt rushed by the staff, which I found odd because thats the only time Ive been approached by them.

A decent store for gaming fans, especially if you are a retro collector. They carry everything from Atari to PS3 games and offer a lot of old consoles and peripherals. The problem here is that the employees are not friendly at all. Most of them stare at you when you walk in and will not say a single word to you unless you approach them first. Every time Ive been in the store, I feel like Im unwelcome and it makes me uncomfortable. This is why I rarely ever visit this store. The GameSwap in Cincinnati, on the other hand, is pretty great and has awesome employees.

I never big so Disrespectful By a man! His name was todd fox. I came in there 2/15/16 at 445pm to get my son a game, also with my 2 year little girl. I was checking out and my daughter was by the games. She grab one of the toy guys off of it and that guy tod yelled out her. I told him not to yell at my daughter. Then started going back in forth with me!! Its just really sad a guy has to yell at a 2 year old little girl and her mother... It was very Inappropriate.. I dont think its right for man to treat a women and little child like that..

Very cool location! The atmosphere in the store is fantastic and its loads of fun. There are classic movie posters, figurines, and cardboard cut-outs of iconic people/characters all about. They even have working arcade machines in there! Will definitely go back. Im not really sure what the other people are saying about bad customer service; my boyfriend and I asked them a lot of questions about some older systems and some of their other merchandise; they were very kind, friendly, and helpful to the both of us.

Awesome store, amazingly courteous employees. They have Star Trek, Dr. Creep, and stuff from major public access cable horror hosts. What more can you ask for? Oh, and REAL arcade games! And Atari 2600 favourites! And classic action figures from just about any sci-fi show you can think of! They even have merchandise from that one series of movies...um...the ones with the laser swords and the cute robots and the bad guy with the bad case of bronchitis. What was that called again?

This place is great! I have no idea wha Eric White is talking about, Im guessing one of the employees must have stole his girl friend or something. Im not best friends with the people that work here but weve all grown up in the same area and I can honestly say that they are good people. Theyre exactly the kind of people that should be running the place. People that have a ton of knowledge when it comes to video games and other relating subjects. Thanks for doing a great job guys.

Game Swap is the attic or basement that you wish you actually had. Its full of previously owned video games, toys, comics, books, magazines, CDs, Blu-ray Discs, DVDs, RCA videodiscs, and VHS videocassettes. The store also has a half-dozen authentic vintage arcade games that you can play! The staff is laid-back, and theyre always willing to lend a hand if you ask. I visit the store every two or three weeks, and its always a fun time!

Absolutely love this joint. I used to frequent Game Swap when I lived in Dayton, OH. I moved to Colorado a few years ago and recently visited the Dayton area on a trip. This place has gotten even better than I remembered it several years ago! Great selection, decent prices (even for a few rare titles) and the staff was friendly! Ill be returning whenever Im in town! I cant say the same for Vacs and Vids....

Game Swap Kettering has been very helpful in service, price and supporting the local community. They are very competitively priced on most items; often times cheaper than what items can be purchased for online once you count in shipping. They often have in store events such as acoustic performances of local musicians, signing events with local film makers and comic book artists, and video game tournaments.

Pros: Great selection of video game consoles and games. Everything from Atari to Modern systems. Games are usually at least $1-$5 less than retail stores and/or other aftermarket video game stores. Cons: Poor customer service. We werent greeted, and no one offered to help us with our purchase decisions. There were 3 employees, and not one of them offered to help us. We ended up taking our money elsewhere.

I dont know where these people are getting the workers are "un-friendly". Every time I go in they are very nice to me and approach me with pleasant conversation, even as far enough to go and give me a game because of the scratches on the disc (GTA II). Went home cleaned the disc up and booted right up. These guys are friendly if youre friendly.

Friendly staff who will greet you as you enter. You can play old school arcade games like Galaga, Centipede, Street Fighter, Pac Man and many more! Best of all, theyre actually only a quarter per game! If you dont have quarters, theyll gladly give you change. My 8 year old son and I played games for an hour straight and spent less than $5.00!

Fantastic selection. Everything from ps3 to sega cd.Very, very impressive selection. prices are very reasonable on trades. happy to have an alternative to gamestop. employees are friendly but seem a little shy. carry small stock of new releases.

Been here many times. They have a great selection of retro games, fair prices, and good overall customer service. If there are any issues with a console or game purchase they have always stood behind their products for me. Highly recommended.

Great place to find vintage video games & new/old movies. Nice selection of almost anything that has to do with movies/games, posters, & toys. Staff is awesome & helpful, have a nice classic arcade along w vintage decorating.

I dont know where people are getting that the staff is rude. I know some of them on a first name basis and they are all super polite and a joy to be around. This place is an amazing store with very little faults.

Super friendly staff who are extremely knowledgeable and fair. Throwback classic arcade games. THEY ARE OLD & FRAGILE (Like us who remember playing them in our youth) SO DONT BE ROUGH ;)
