As an old school gamer, this place is a great place to build up a video game library of any kind. They even have some decent rare games as well, I picked myself up a rare Nintendo game in the box! Compared to other stores, it doesnt have a large library of games, but it does have a great select few that are worth owning. Otherwise, it has a great Playstation line, Xbox, even Atari 2600 games. I understand to most people the staff "rips you off", but I talked to them a while. Some of the stuff the staff receives just isnt valuable, which I believe. I took in a old Playstation football game and it was only valued at 25 cents. I never bothered with bartering, its really about what VGUG is selling that really makes it a great place, and the staff is very intelligent as well.

Honestly, I used to think this was the last great place for video games in Toledo. The selection in consoles is lacking, and when there are systems available, the prices are sky high. If I wanted a used 300GB PS3 for 299$, Id go buy one from the store new and get 20GB more to boot. Even so, they have Zune/iPods regularly, as the webshop points out. When I actually purchased one from the webshop, my money was refunded and told that it was no longer in stock. I go back to check the webshop again, its listed still with a HIGHER PRICE. I feel as if this store makes its money on deceit and false advertising. My business will be taken elsewhere, as Ive given this place too many chances. My suggestion is that you dont give this place a first chance.

During my first visit I was almost made fun of for spending under $10. They tried to sell me things I wasnt interested in. When I found something interesting, I was told it wasnt up for sale yet but they would sell it to me anyway. I said I didnt have money that day but I would try to be back with money. I am from an hour and a half away mind you, and they knew this. Went back less than 2 days later to buy the item and was told it wasnt for sale and it would be a hassle to go dig it up. "Maybe if it was on top of the box" I was told. I would have been a repeat customer as I am a huge game collector but after this experience I will not be back.

Been a collector for over a decade and for the Toledo location, this place is always worth checking out. This place never ceases to amaze me in what comes in. THIS is the store where I picked up my complete copy of Paper Mario 64 and Secret of Mana for the SNES. Even found a copy of Suikoden II for the PS1 here earlier this spring. Their inventory changes every week. On a side note, despite being a "used" media store, the owner Mike does have brand new games come in as well. When all other stores sold out Fire Emblem:Fates on the 3DS, this store was in stock.

Horrible, horrible bargaining place. I completely got ripped off. My fault for going through with the sale. I turned in so many great dvds, many complete season box sets, and got barely nothing for them. Then I turn around and see what they are selling them for.....RIP OFF!! Guess I should have been smarter about it but I needed the money. Just want everyone to know that I would not recommend going to this place!!!

A good friend of mine by the name of Jim Ass recommended this store to me. All I can say is that they had the best prices on games around! Any individual who is in the market for the games they love should grab hold of the situation like a florida manatee fleeing from a bunch of water headed idiots and head on down to video game underground. Mention that Jim Ass sent you for 10% off your purchase!

I just picked up Banjo Kazooie this afternoon. The owner is extremely friendly and helpful. The prices of his collection are some of the best ive seen at a brick and mortar store. You also can count on that the items he sells are not stolen or in poor condition. The game had been cleaned and the sticker was easy to remove and I will be a customer for life thats for sure!

The owner is extremely knowledgeable with regards to video games, and offers reasonable prices both buying and selling. Sellers should note that you could get more on eBay, but thats the price you pay selling directly to any used-game merchant. Also, he passed on a couple of systems I offered that didnt have the cables or controllers, so, bring those!

This place is great, like walking into a nostalgic childhood again, but with new stuff too. The owner is such a knowledgeable tome himself about video games and music. Would like his Facebook page for updates on new products. I believe this store has the best conversations and prices around (no pun intended).

This place is pretty cool! Good prices, much better than the big box stores! They have a bit of everything. Selling is much better than what the angry Google User mentioned. Most of their DVD movies are $3.00 and that is to buy and keep them not a rental! Ill definitely go there again and again.
