Today (11.1.2016), I went into the Johns Creek Ga (11720 Medlock Bridge Rd STE 166, Duluth GA) Gamestop to trade in my Nintendo 3ds XL and my iPod Touch. The associate who greeted responded by asking if I have the charger. That was the first red flag because it is common knowledge that the new 3dss did not come with a charger and he stated that he would have to charge $10 for this. I played along while I was pulling up proof in my phone to show that was a lie. Then, an associate by the name of Elizabeth started asking accusatory questions such as "why are you trading this in?" "where is your receipt?" She was extremely hostile towards me and through all of this, I remained calm. She ended up slamming my 3ds closed and stated that they would not take my trade in. I calmly asked her for her name and she proceeded to write her name on a receipt. When I reached for the receipt, she placed her hand on the receipt and stated "Can I explain myself"? I am completely dumbfounded on why I was treated this way. I was wearing my work clothes (Khaki Pants and Tucked in Red Polo shirt). I am an African American and I feel I was racially profiled. I never raised my tone in voice nor was I hostile towards any associates. I know however that this doesnt reflect Gamestop as a whole as I have received incredible customer service from other Gamestops in my area. I should not be treated like a criminal for simply trying to trade in my items.

Mick, the manager here, is quite possibly the best customer service rep in the state of GA. I drive an hour to this location because the help is so good and cheerful. There is a GS 3 miles from my house that DOES NOT COMPARE!

This gamestop is the best! All of the employees are super awesome. Definitely sign up for the Power up rewards card, it saves you a lot of money and you get so much thought the year!

By far my favorite Game Stop. The workers here are pleasant and helpful and the manager is the best guy. Where I like to do all my game shopping if I can!
