This is a really good Meijer location. While I never made Meijer my primary grocery store, they have a really great produce, meat and seafood section in their grocery. Its very fresh. They also have a great selection of healthy brands, gluten free and organic brands that can be found in Wholefoods (Evol, Vans, Schar, Glutino, Enjoy Life, De Boles, etc.). They even have their own Meijer brand gluten free products now! Its a super large store, and the layout is really great with one exception. Ive found it more difficult to shop for the Gluten free brands I need with them filtered throughout the entire store, mixed with all the other brands, instead of having a designated section for just those products (like most Kroger stores do). However, the rest of the layout is really very nice. You can save money if you shop the ads and add the Meijer Perks app to your phone and clip their digital coupons. The main reason I never made this my primary store is I find it more difficult to coupon here. Its also difficult to shop late and have to use self check out for a large trip, and the coupon process is even more difficult than using cashiers. If you dont use alot of coupons, its one of the better "all in one" super stores. Far better than Walmart!

Terrible service can never find associates for any questions or help. Service desk is terrible, transfers you back and forth to a line that none is on the other end of. Then when it bounces back a fourth time they just hang up on you. I stood in the store and couldnt find help so I called the store two different times to talk to someone, to get someone else to meet me inside the store to finally help me. The customers and vendors are more friendly and helpful. Why do we need three people at self check out and only two additional lanes open. You have thirty some odd check outs and two open while the lines back up into the clothes tracks and wraps through the main aisle. Real intelligent use of retail space.

I just cant complain enough about Meijer. You make me work for my MPERKS and then when I try to use the coupon that states window coverings are included: for curtains Im trying to purchase, and it doesnt work I get irritated. Irritated at the cashier that stands there and says she doesnt know what to do and has no authority to make an override or desicion, ittitated that she doesnt have enough training to suggest going to customer service, and irritated that I have to go stand in a line to get my $4 refund with all the other disgruntled Meijer guests. Take your useless MPERKS and your terrible customer service back to basic training and start all over.

I love this store! I shop here at least once a week, and the employees are wonderful!! For example I like to go through self checkout so I can scan my products myself to make sure theyre ringing up right, and I have time to put my coupons in. Well I also have a 2 year old and sometimes she can gets impatient, but usually one of the people working the lanes will come up and play with her if theyre not busy so I can do what I need too. Also even walking through the store, if you need help with an item the employees are very polite and helpful! I love shopping here, from their employees to their deals its just an awesome place!

They have the worst customer service in the meat department, every time I asked to cut the meat Tom C. would say different things each and every time e.g. 1) my saw is down 2) I cant cut bones only meat or 3) I already cleaned the saw. Even when I came in during the middle of the day. I had complaint to the manager on floor several times about it. But Le (leader) said he had never heard of anyone complaining about Tom before instead of trying to help me (the customer). This problem had went on since this last summer, so I had quit shopping there, until today and of course the same problem happened again. I quit!

Not just a grocery store. Great selections overall. Prices seem about right, but not as good as Wal-Marts. The pharmacy is top-notch, very friendly, courteous and helpful staff; and offers certain free medications, e.g. metformin for diabetics. I am not impresssed with the Meijers Rewards program...not good savings unless you are diligent in clipping the coupons ahead of time and buying the correct items. I much prefer the Kroger Plus as you see automatic and immediate rewards up to a $1/gallon (occasionally $2/gallon) on fuel costs.

I dont like big box stores, as theyre cost externalizing corporate machines that have no regard for employees or the environment... That said, if you MUST go to one... This Meijer is the best in the area. The service here, while not exceptional by any means, is significantly BETTER than the service (or lackthereof) from the nearby Walmart. Also, the selection of produce and groceries is exceptional. The electronics department has helpful employees as well.

I find somethings I need here. Friendly greeters, surpasses Walmart. Had a problem with people smoking vapor in the store. Disgusting watching vapor fall on cloths. I brought up the subject for a month. Still chemicals falling on goods being sold. People were doing it in the open. Meijer was to change their policy to reflect other chains so it was not allowed. I went there and I am 13 and got a AIRSOFT Speed loader and airsoft bbs and they carded me... Im not really sure what in going to harm with plastic bbs and they even said that I had to have an ID to purchase a Speed loader as well... When you go there to buy plastic bbs make sure you have a parent or you are 18 years of age.

Convenience and value. Never have been happy with Manager customer service who always seem to pass any issue onto sub-vendors within the store. Sign reads Meijers yet within are hundreds of vendors who pay for space which Meijers seems to take no effort in helping customers with.

I quite stopping at the deli a few months ago. There is no customer service there at all. I promised myself to go to Walmart as they care. I did stop in Meijers today to pick up some spinach that was in the ad. A waste of time, they didnt have any for 2 days the produce clerk said.

I like how big the selection is and the sales they have are great - you have to use Meijer Perks and digital coupons. Drawback is the pharmacy at times is slow and last Friday didnt fill my scripts after I called them in - after I waited 45 minutes and live 40 minutes away.

The aisles are clean and well stocked. The staff is friendly and helpful. Their sales are great and I can always find something special for me in the clothing and accessories departments. My kids are in love with the fish tanks :-)

Repeat shopper at Meijer. Great sales but at times it causes availability for products to be low or none at all. You definitely have to find your best time to shop there - Saturday is super busy so that may not be it for some.
