Had the worst experience at Cracker Barrel on Wilmington at Feedwire, Dayton, Ohio. Didnt get our bread so more than half way thru the meal, I was able to get the attention of our waitress. She had given my son-in-law unsweetened tea instead of sweet tea like he ordered. My grandson didnt get his order of ranch dressing so I asked for that and our bread. I didnt tell her about the tea. She brought the ranch dressing and the bread. The rolls were burnt on the bottom. I took a butter of the top and it had been used. I was appalled. I got the roast beef and it was fatty. Food was below standard, but I didnt say anything about that. I dont like confrontation so I sent my daughter out to pay and complain about the rolls and butter. The manager gave us the drinks free but it seemed to my daughter that he was not believing her. So that made me even more angry. I was very disappointed. I expected much more from Cracker Barrel. I didnt complain at the table because 4 people had been seated next to us and I didnt want to ruin their meal.

Ive visited Cracker Barrel restaurants in Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Missouri, and Tennessee. They are all about the same: great food, decent prices and conveniently located. The thing that set this location apart from the others: The Service. In most Cracker Barrels, the server assigned to your table is pretty much the only person you come in contact with. Thats OK, and Ive rarely gotten bad service at any location Ive visited. In this restaurant, however, there was more of a team approach. At least 3 different people came by to ask us how we were doing and bring us refills on our drinks. That was a very nice touch. Its hard to not recommend Cracker Barrel, but if youre in the Centerville, OH, area, I especially recommend this one.

Went 2 months ago & food & service was excellent! Went to 1 month ago & waitress was very slow. Woman next to the 2 of us had different waitress, came in after us & got her food before us. I also get milk & they bring u a frosted mug, no mug so I ask for 1 & she looked at me like, huh? Ill go c what I can find Told cashier & he apologized & adjusted my check. Went there today & Im done. Again got breakfast, grits were like soup, gravy for biscuits was SO bland & I dont know what animal the sausage came from but my 15 month old grandson even spit it out! Also off the kids menu I ordered him 2 pancakes, thinking they wud b kid size, OH no, they were huge. U think the waitress wud have let me know that! Next breakfast , Bob Evans!

Absolutely terrible. Waitress only came to our table to take orders and drop food off so forget refills or anything if that sort. One order was completely wrong, and then waited an additional 30 min after initially waiting 40 min to be seated and 30 min for food. The manager came and asked what was wrong at the end of our meal so I explained one order was wrong. He seemed shocked and offered no additional assistance. My omelette looked like it was made of the leftover crusted egg from someone elses meal as well. Dont waste your time or money. Id give this a zero rating if I could.

I ordered grilled chicken and my girlfriend ordered the rainbow trout. Maybe we were asking for it, ordering things like that from Cracker Barrel... The chicken still had sinew and tendon like it hadnt been trimmed down before cooking. The marinade on it was ok, but not good enough to salvage the meal. The trout still had its scales on, and had a swampy, algae taste that lingered for hours. I generally wouldnt trust Cracker Barrel to cook anything being home style meals and would prefer it if they kept their menu smaller so they can pay due attention to quality control.

I came here for Thanksgiving and that was a major mistake. It took two hours to be seated, one hour to get our food, and another hour just to get our check and leave. They ran out of most of their side dishes. They clearly cared more about the carry out orders than the people sitting in their restaurant. The manager didnt seem to take our complaints too seriously. He seemed numb from all the other complaints he was receiving. The only positive thing during our time here was the waitress. She was very kind and apologized for the outrageous wait time.

I have been enjoying Cracker Barrel Restaurants for over 30 years, and cant recall ever having a bad experience, or meal in ALL THAT TIME! The service is always top-level, and the helpings are always over-the-top! If you ever leave their establishment hungry, you didnt order, or you didnt try hard enough! Economically speaking, your bank account isnt in any danger either. The prices are very friendly. They are everywhere to be found, and you can get a map in each location, that gives all of the other locations.

This might be the worst Cracker Barrell in the country. Consistently bad food. The food here is always cold. Ive never received anything piping hot from this place. Tonight I tried their new "seasonal" shrimp and grits. It was down right nasty. It was super greasy and Ive been nauseated since I ate it four hours ago. I would never come back to this place, but my girlfriend, for some reason, loves it.

I didnt know you paid before you got your food to go. I have never ordered to go before. And didnt even have a receipt. Half an hour later Im like whats going on w my order. Hostess says pay and they will hound the back. Go to the cashier. Food wasnt even made yet. Said order doesnt go thru unless you paid already. Didnt want to wait longer after I already waited half an hour.

WE LOVE TO GO TO CRACKER BARREL, THE FOOD IS VERY GOOD AND PRICED GOOD. WE CALL IN AND TAKE OUT FOOD OFTEN AND MOST OF TIME FOOD IS READY FOR PICK UP AND SOMETIMES I HAVE TO WAIT A WHILE. THE ONLY COMPLAINT I HAVE RIGHT NOW IS THAT THEY DONT STOCK ENOUGH OF THE NAYLORS SOFT BUTTER MINTS. I HAVE BEEN I N TWICE RECENTLY AND THEY HAVE BEEN OUT OF THEM.

Food was nothing special, could get better at Bob Evans. The service however was terrible! Waitress forgot items that we ordered twice. Then she gave me the check without asking if we were finished, we werent! Then she copped an attitude when we ordered dessert! The atmosphere was probably the best part of the meal. And the "general store" is a lot of fun!

Ive been to this Cracker Barrel many times because its close to my house. Most of the time the food is good and the service is super. I stopped ordering bacon because like most Cracker Barrel locations they seem to overcook bacon. Theres always a wait time during peak hours.

Hostess couldnt figure out the wait time correctly even with less costumers due to the evening time frame. Lyndsey was the worse server ever in my experience with the restaurant. The service and food were awful. The manager walked over to the table but never acknowledge us...
