Tonight my husband and I dined at cracker barrel in Milford, Ohio. The service was excellent (our waiters name was Brent!). We had plenty of refills, everything came out fresh and hot and the order was placed correctly. Brent knew when to approach the table and when to let us be, he was seriously awesome. We did not have to ask for a thing. He made sure we were completely provided for. At the end of our visit and business was dying down because it was near closing I asked brent a question about an artifact on the wall. While he didnt know the answer, we had a pleasant conversation about Cracker Barrel artifacts and what not until the manager of the establishment came out, interrupted the conversation with brent, berated him in front of us for not completely bussing a table when we were clearly speaking with our server which is why he wasnt bussing it. Brent seemed slightly embarrassed and didnt come back over the rest of the visit. There were 2-3 other tables finishing up food and conversation and while it was getting close to closing, we felt completely rushed and like the customers no longer mattered to the management staff. Promptly following the incident on the floor all of the servers scurried out of the kitchen and began cleaning up and clanking plates and disrupting the rest of the customers. The manager was on the floor huffing and puffing and bussing tables with them and genuinely upset about it. We asked him over to our table, were told to wait because he clearly couldnt be bothered with us and when he did walk over we told him how excellent our service was and how our food was great but due to his attitude and treatment of staff we wouldnt be returning. He half heartedly apologized and seemed not to really care about anything. I felt bad for every employee there working under him. I have worked in the food service industry and currently work in retail. If anything went wrong in that restaurant tonight to cause his unacceptable attitude and treatment of employees in front of guests it was clearly his own fault. I have never felt more uncomfortable or awkward at a restaurant. Good help is hard to find. When you find it,employees should be treated with respect, not embarrassed or berated in front of customers. This man clearly had no business in a position of power in any establishment. I hope he felt a shred of what his staff feels when he embarrasses them when I told him he was the sole reason we wouldnt be returning in front of them. A great meal, a great server and a great experience, all ruined in 30 seconds from the managers inept management.

It will not surprise anyone that Cracker Barrel is a really great place to eat. They do a great job with quality control all across the nation. Our particular Cracker Barrel is a fine example for the rest of the nation. The serving staff are always cheerful and helpful. The food is always of the highest quality and we have even started getting take out in the past year as there is nothing better than a great breakfast at 7:00 am or pm. My particular favorite is the pecan pancakes, they have a great texture with just a touch of butter perfect crunch. My wife loves the eggs in a basket or the chicken and dumplings. Enjoy your time at this great dining and shopping venue.

This is definitely a high volume store, and Im really impressed with how efficiently they get people in and out of the restaurant, without sacrificing food and service. The parking lot was FULL and we shockingly were seated pretty quickly. Our server was young, sweet with a great smile, and excellent! Our food came out at the right time, was just right, and she was right on top of refilling our drinks while serving several other tables. The womens restroom was being stocked and wiped down while we were in there, and Ive found busy Cracker Barrel Stores neglectful of the restrooms. Not the case! It was very clean and attended to. Easy five star review!

went there to celebrate a birthday. ordered hamburger steak. cooked just fine. green beans were mushy, must have thought they were grapes and stomped on them to make wine. or else somebody sat on them. fries were cold and hard as a brick.manager needs to check this kitchen and get cooks with culinary degrees, instead of just a warm body to prepare food.cashier took my money but food was not up to par. need to replace manager. it was like eating in some greasy food diner. put some quality back in cracker barell

All went well until I went to pay. There was a line; I was waiting. Another girl, Chasity, opened another register All went well until I went to pay. There was a line and I was waiting. Another girl, Chasity, opened another register then told the person BEHIND me she could help him instead of asking who was next. I told her I was next. She said she didnt care. I spoke to a manager who said she was sorry. I wont go back. Not handled well at all.

Its noisy, its bland, and its sometimes quite crowded. Concerning value, you generally get your moneys worth. However, every time Ive been there, the food is very bland. Sadly, apparently, is at a premium in their kitchen. Service is good, but not great. The little store area is full of tchotchkes which, to me, seem quite overpriced. It is also quite fiddly to navigate through through if there are a lot of people in threw.

This was the best Cracker Barrel I have ever been in! The management team was excellent, making sure tables were kept clean and guests were seated in a timely manner. The wait staff were very friendly and courteous! Our waitress Tyme, I believe was her name, was fantastic!! The food was excellent! This was possibly the best service I have ever received in ANY restaurant including any 5 star restaurant!

My family and I went to the Milford Ohio restaurant. We ordered drinks. Three of the drinks were pop. Our waitress brought the pop to us, knowing they were out of carbonation, completely. Our waitress was absolutely rude. This is the second time we had her as a waitress and she was rude the previous time. Its a shame because I love Cracker Barrel but will not be coming back to this location.

Thevstaff was great, went out of the way to help us out. On one trip up they was oit of fish and the bacon was cold. The next trip all of the popcorn shrimp was burnt and the fish was still empty. The Manager came over and had to get the guy to refill it. Some how the rootbeer got switched with coke. But again, the staff tried to get it all taken care of for us.

So far pretty crappy, sat down with no wait but once at the table. We were forgotten then waitress decided that we worth pushing us off to another waiter without passing are drinks order to him. So we had to inquire agin about getting served. Last couple times here have been horrible.
