WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE! I have a brand new Jeep Wrangler Unlimited that I have owned for less than a month. The lock that secures the center console seized up and would not open, leaving my work ID, insurance card, garage door opener, etc. trapped inside. Earlier in the week, I had ordered and paid for two sets of splash guards through Ed Tomkos service department. Ironically, when I first discovered that the lock was broken, I was in my driveway (unable to gain access to my garage/garage door opener) when I received the call from Ed Tomko that my splash guards were ready for pick up. I mentioned the problem with the lock and was reassured that they would be able to fix the problem when I came to pick up the parts. After picking up my parts, I was directed to the Service Department. I explained the problem with the lock and that the employee that I spoke with over the phone stated that someone would be available to fix it that day. The service department employee informed me that there were no appointments available for over two weeks! I emphasized the sense of urgency needed to resolve this issue (I work for a government facility...no work ID/clock-ins = FIRED), and the minimal amount of time that would be required to resolve the issue, but it all fell on deaf ears. The employees response was, "Go somewhere else if you need it done faster," and went back to staring at his computer screen! At this point, I asked to speak with the manager of the service department because of the employees rude, disrespectful, and dismissive attitude. After the Service employee and manager spoke, I was directed to the managers office where again, I explained my situation and how I was told over the phone that the issue could be resolved that day. He responded by calling me a liar in front of my 6 year old daughter!!!! He said, "Theres no way anyone would have told you that." I calmly responded by stating, "Sir, I assure you that the gentleman I spoke with did." His smart-mouthed response was, "Well then, lets go find him." We walked over to the parts department and found the person that I spoke with on the phone. When confronted by his manager and myself, he did the right thing and told the truth...he told his manager, in front of all of his coworkers, that he DID tell me the issue could be resolved that day. So what was the managers response? Again, a nasty remark! He told me, "So you want it looked at today? Fine. [To the Parts employee] YOU can go out there and take a look at it then. [To me] And by the way, hes not a mechanic." I have NEVER experienced this level of disrespect as a customer! The young man that came out to look at my vehicle was very nice and understanding of my problem. He attempted to open the console with my key, but he too could not get it unlocked. He also recommended taking the vehicle elsewhere...or worst case, breaking the console open! At this point, Id heard enough!!! In summary, I will NEVER take my vehicle to this dealership again or purchase any Jeep parts through them. I strongly advise against anyone else using their Service Department and I am seriously reconsidering my purchase of a Jeep vehicle if I cannot find a quality maintenance provider!!!

Stay FAR FAR AWAY from this dealership! I have never in my life been treated the way I was here. Jerrol was the ONLY nice person I interacted with here. Mike is probably one of the worst salesman Ive ever encountered. The first woman Cindy who was far from a pleasure to work with, finally got fired. I had my eyes on 2 different vehicles at this dealership. A close friend of mine in the sales industry kept telling me to give this place a try. It was convenient for me as its right down the road from my house. I went multiple times interested in different options. The last time I went I was actually told that I could not test drive a vehicle!!!!!!!!! Seriously. I couldnt lie about this. I was legitimately told "dont shoot the messenger"... "you cant test drive that car." They came up with some whacked out excuse that because I was trying to get them to take my car that they didnt want to do business with me. I even offered keeping my car and figuring it out on my own but was STILL denied a test drive!!!!! I have told everyone Ive encountered about this experience and it leaves everyone speechless or completely upset and wanting to go to the dealership to tell them off. I am a 27 year old female with a great job and was laughed at by these guys. I even own my own house that I bought at 25 and I was turned down by these guys! Moral of my story here, DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THESE PEOPLE!!!!!! Jerrol was great, and Im sorry he had to be the "messenger" when it came to trying to test drive. His customer service is top notch and needs to be working at a different dealership where they dont turn sales away.

My Jeep Willys Wrangler is a 2015 with 7k miles and had to have warranty repair a couple times. Both times I was incovienced. They told me an hour, and it ended up being 3 hours, which had me sitting there, while my kids, had to sit on the porch, in the winter, and wait for me to get back home, for when they got out of school. COMPLETE BULL CRAP! The chump owner, because I didnt choose to sit there like a rich Avon snob, who choose to rather complain, about the misquoted time frame, told me to leave the property and not to come back. Not comback for simply stating the fact, they lied. Their appology was: LEAVE & DONT COME BACK.. Thats their service to a guy (me) who traded a car w/ only 2k on the odometer, and took a 5k loss, and who then purchased a 35k Jeep and paid sticker... I was completely mistreated, from the time I initially walked through the door, till the time i was asked to LEAVE & DONT COME BACK.. Now my Jeep is 2 years old, has about 7500 miles and the underneath is completely rusting out. I asked them to service the rusty fuel tube going to my tank BEFORE it starts leaking, and they said NO! I guess Ill have to wait till I smell gas, or replace it myself. I will update this post with pics of the rust, here in the next week or so, after it stops raining. Wait till you see how crappy these Jeeps, Tomko sell, are JUNK! Or maybe Ill do a youtube video, since those like to go VIRAL.. DO NOT BUY A JEEP FROM ED TOMKO Jerol Walker needs to quit this crappy dealership, and take his talents to a beter place...

I had a terrible experience working with the service department at Ed Tomko in Avon Lake, OH. In March 2013 I leased a brand new Dodge Dart, which started having some mechanical issues in early 2014. While I liked my car a lot up until it stopped functioning properly, working with the service departments at the delearships has been nothing but frustrating. Having leased the car from a Columbus dealership before moving to the Cleveland area, I first took my car to an Amherst Dodge dealership, but decided to try Ed Tomko in Avon Lake after getting disappointing service in Amherst. I called them up and explained my dilemma, and everything seemed to be going ok until I mentioned that I had gotten my tires aligned by an outside mechanic (something that is not covered under my warranty). I understand that if I got something done that was covered under warranty done by an outside mechanic, that my warranty would be void. But this man on the phone from Ed Tomko basically laughed in my face when I mentioned the warranty, and suggested that I go back to the outside mechanic for the rest of my service. Apparently since something so basic as a tire alignment could have been done improperly, this man no longer wanted anything to do with my vehicle. It was a crazy and nauseating experience, and I will never buy a Dodge, Jeep, or Chrysler ever again. Nice enough cars, but terrible service.
