Kia of Greenville is the worst car dealership I have ever been to. Their customer service was comical to say the least My husband and I decided to buy a car at your dealership at the end of last year.We thought that everything had gone smoothly but around a month later we found out that our tags from our previous car, which we were told would be handled by kia directly, couldnt be transferred to our new car because I, his wife was not put on the loan or the title. We were shocked, never once Were we told that only my husband was put on the loan or title, they had my information and I was present along with my husband when we bought the car yet I was never asked if I wanted to be put on the cars paperwork nor had they tried to get us approved with me as well as my husband on the lone. We had assumed that because they had taken my info and not said anything that we were both on the paperwork. However, none of any of these explainable scenarios happened, they simply decided not to put me on the paperwork and not mention it to us. We were then rushed through paperwork so quickly we didnt know what was even going on. In the next following weeks we had to return numerous times to finish the paperwork the finance department had failed to complete corectly. When we did show up the final time to try and have things fixed we were given incorrect information despite us contacting the DMV to confirm our questions. And the head manager of the store Ken was paged numerous times and didnt come up to help us for 30 minutes. When he did come he was told by a fellow employee that people were looking and waiting for him, he then Chuckled looked at his cell phone in one hand and a soda in the other and says " I didnt get any texts or phone calls so it couldnt be very important" While he was directly in front of us, his customers. Still needing help we told him our situation and what had happened and instead of taking it upon himself, like any head manager of a company should do, he simply shrugged it off and told us to talk to the finance office. I am so beyond upset with this whole situation and have taken it upon myself to figure out what we are going to do because obviously your company is incapable of doing so. I will never buy a car from your company ever again and will deter people away from your company every chance I get. Because no deserves to be treated the way my family was.

I was shopping around for a used car and went to Kia to look for a Sportage. They didnt let me leave until a bought a car. I was happy with my purchase but had to fight them nail and tooth to get what I wanted at the price I wanted. They were very pushy and I really dont know where I got the strength from to say no to all the cars I didnt want and they were trying to sell me. The car I bought didnt have the owners manual. I kept asking them for one until I got tired and just gave up on it. Anyway, a little over a month later, the car - a fairly new 2014 Ford Escape with fewer than 40K miles on it- broke down and Im looking at a $1,400 repair. I know the car was not certified, but I believed them to be a reputable dealer so I asked them to help me out with providing the labor and I would buy the parts. They just said no. All they care about is pushing down your throat something youre not looking for. Be prepared when you go there; be sure what you want, especially if youre looking for a used car, and dont let them push you around. Aftersales customer service SUCKS. Kyle, youre decent because youre relatively new. Dont let them corrupt you. You care about your customer. Update: two months after purchasing the car I got a letter from my credit union stating they had not received the title. I tried to contact somebody in accounting several times until I finally had to ask to speak to the supervisor. She said DMV had the title in "suspense"; she was goi g to call the DMV to find out why and would call me "right back". Well, a week later she hasnt. Anyway, I called the DMV myself and they released the title TO ME!!! Apparently the dealership didnt provide the lien information. Now Im going to have to go to the DMV to place the lien myself. Thank you so much!! You make me happier (read with sarcasm) every day! And the response from the owner to call the manager? I spoke to 2 managers when I had the first problem and they didnt help. So why bother calling them again?

Buyer beware! Avoid this place at all cost! My husband and I bought a 2017 Forte from them. After we were basically forced into it. The 1st month wed never received our payment packet. We were ready to pay our first payment. The salesman calls and tells us that the bank decided not to finance our vehicle to bring it back! We call the bank and were told it was because the financial services never sent them employment verification and to have them resubmit our file. So we go down there and Ian, the finance man tells us we dont make enough money! That the bank split our income because we have a joint bank account and he said just hoping to slip it in without them realizing it! That hed resubmitted it to them and we were denied! So obviously horrified we decide to go talk to Benson Kia in Spartanburg. Low and behold, the SAME bank gives us the EXACT SAME loan wed had for another 2017 kia forte!!!! So over a month and 2 new cars later we are in a Forte with $20 a month cheaper payments. Thankfully Benson Kia was able to get everything straightened out for us. But it was a massive headache that could have been orally avoided if they would have only done their job to begin with. If you dont want to have a huge headache and a bunch of drama to deal with I would definitely avoid this place. If there was a negative star I would rate them in he negative!

I have never had a car newer than 15 years old and decided that I was ready to buy one. I spoke with Forest over the phone first, explained what I was looking for, and what I could afford. I went in the next day and looked at the vehicles he had chosen to show me. Before we looked at the vehicles, he was very thorough going over how the process worked and made sure I understood everything. I have really poor credit due to hospital bills, so I ended up applying under my husbands name. When Forest let me test drive the car, he was very patient, made sure I understood how everything worked and pointed out features that applied to me. He was not pushy and did not act like he was trying to be a salesman. He was simply showing me the car and allowing me time to think about it. I ended up really loving the Kia Sorento so I decided on that one. Forest was an all around easy person to talk to and was extremely helpful. I never felt pushed into buying anything and felt like I was just talking to a friend about a car. Excellent customer service.
