After doing research online, we chose to purchased a 2014 Chevy Volt at Joe Firement Chevy. When we arrived we me with our sales person who was friendly. We had the Friends and Suppliers pricing and was beaten by the sales person, which we appreciated. The process of going through and purchasing the vehicle seemed to take a long time with miscommunications between the sales person and fiance manger: Ex. we were placing a down payment of the vehicle that was written down, but completely missed. In total we were at the dealership for roughly 5 hours before being able to drive off in our car. After we left dealer is where things went wrong. After we returned home we learned that the Friends and Suppliers discount also offers 0% financing that we were qualified for and entitled to. Within 24 hours we contacted our sales person to get this resolved. The sales person had very poor followup and communication with us and we had to reach out multiple times to attempt to get resolution. Once we had a plan in place, the dealership failed to execute it and we, the customer, were blamed and saddled with loss. It appears that once the car is off the lot, the dealership does not care about continued support of its customers. This issue could have easily been resolved, instead we are losing money and completely unsatisfied with the way this was handled. We would never recommend this dealership to anyone for purchasing any vehicle.

The WD-40 Mechanics @ Joe Firment! I purchased a mini cooper from Joe Firment on Oct the 7th and I must say I absolutely LOVE my mini cooper. The sales staff was wonderful and very friendly too. I live in New York so I had my father help me find a vehicle in Ohio. When I picked up the car I heard some noise, and asked my father about it, he said the mechanics looked into the noise and since it was happening again he called the sales man and arranged a time for me to have them look into it again before I left for New York the next day. When I got to Joe Firment mechanic’s I was surprised to see the man pull out a WD-40 can, which he sprayed into this part of my car. (I’m not familiar with the anatomy of cars parts.. sorry). The noise did stop. However on Nov the 12th my car started to smoke and loud noise came from the front hood. I had my mini towed to a mechanic in the Bronx and spent $684.96 on the replacement of a Multi-Rib Belt and Balancer, Harmonic. This price included the price of the parts and the labor involved to remove and replace crankshaft balancer with fulley and install a new drive belt. My advice to anyone purchasing a car from Joe Firment, if you hear ANY noise DON’T TRUST THE WD-40 MECHANICS. I’m still waiting for my title too! Respectfully, A customer

I stopped by Joe Firment Chevrolet to pick up a front license plate bracket for my car ( I bought my car out of state). I had called earlier in the day and the parts department offered to hold it for me until I picked it up after work. I arrived and sure enough it was there awaiting my pick up. I wanted to make sure it was the right one and asked the gentleman that was helping me if he could make sure. He asked me if I had my car here. I told him yes. He went out and checked came back and said, "Yes, its the right one." I could not believe what happened next. The gentleman said, " Do you mind if we put it on for you?" I told him I didnt mind at all. He also asked that when they were finished would it be ok to wash my car. I told him, "Sure, that would be great." He told me that he would bring my car up front when they were done. 10 minutes later my car was brought to me washed and with my new license plate bracket installed. I definitely did not see that coming. I thought service like this was a thing of the past. I want to thank the service staff of Joe Firment Chevrolet for such a great experience and for taking the time to provide top notch service. Again, Thank you!

I traveled across 2 states to buy a truck they claimed was in great condition and ran perfect. As soon as I took the truck for a drive there was clearly something wrong with it. When I brought it back, the older gentleman that claimed to be the service manager argued with me and said I was wrong and that diesel trucks always ran like that. 3 hours later after they finally had a mechanic take a look at it, they concluded that the ECU was tuned wrong and they were not equip to fix the issue. Obviously this truck could not be sold and wasted this customers time and money for traveling to them after lying on their Auto trader post. To top it off they have yet to remove this truck from the site so it makes me wonder if they arent just trying to sell this truck to some one less educated about vehicles. Dont waste your time going up there unless you want to get an ear full from a rude "service manager" and deal with faulty vehicles. Clearly this owner has no clue how to run a business with adequate trained employees.

I recently purchased a 2007 Honda Accord from this dealership. The car appeared to be in immaculate shape when I drove it off the lot. However, about three days after I purchased the vehicle noticeable white streaks appeared on the drivers side door. After waxing it myself, I realized the dealership had covered these up. This would have obviously effected the price of the vehicle and my negotiations with the salesman. I also had to immediately get the tires replaced on this car, as the tires on the vehicle at the time of the purchase where a saftey hazard(which again I didnt know about until after the fact). When I contacted the dealership to express my displeasure they pleaded ignorance and acted like they didnt know what I was talking about. This dealership choose to hold back some important details about the car I purchased from them, and I would not trust them in the future.

I came here not sure what to expect (I have never done business with them) after finding my first choice in dealerships was closed for the day. I left In record time for any dealer (4 hours later) getting well over KBB on my trade-in as well as several thousand off plus GM employee discount with my new truck. The salesperson and staff was very helpful at answering my questions and was confident threw the whole process he would get me the deal and payment I was looking for. Im old school when it comes to car buying and love to haggle (the dealer needs my purchase more than I need to make one) and am not afraid to walk if I dont feel satisfied. In 20 years of owning cars this is one of the only times I didnt get the chance to haggle. The dealer met and exceeded any deal I was willing to fight for leaving me very happy with my purchase.
