I give harbor freight 5 stars condionally. The most important thing to remember while shopping there is that you are not paying for the highest quality tools so expecting professional quality tools that will be a workhorse everyday will only lead to disappointment. The best thing about harbor freight is getting one-off style tools. There are exceptions to this condition. Namely the hand tools. I keep my toolbox at work stocked with screwdrivers from here and I havent found a justifiable reason to splurge on a nice set. So, use some common sense and keep your expectations in check and you shouldnt have any issues.

Visited the store this morning about 9 am. Most employees were busy restocking and made no effort to accommodate shoppers. I would even say they were rude. And if the cashier was the MOD, she set the standard even higher. This was the only HF where I have experienced such behavior. I advise women (I am 64yr old back female) not to look for a friendly atmosphere.

They dont stand behind there product, bought a tire changer and put it together and found out its missing a part. A very important part. Called the store and talked to them about it and they wouldnt help me. Said "we dont sell replacement parts" so im stuck with a $50 pice of scrap metal

Some of their products are down right good quality, for the average home owner needs. Some of it is down right junk. Youve just got to be careful what you buy there. Cant beat the prices anywhere tho... Id like to have one of everything in the store, lol.

Watch for the sale flyers.Great place to buy tool and shop accessories such as drill bits, driver tips, saw blades, sandpaper, air tools, clamps, fasteners & adhesives. Much more.

Great discounts, great location, great selection, and really good tools for the price. Dont buy into brand type. Harbor Freight sells some really good tools.
