The WORST Home Depot experience ever!! Usually at HD, employees are falling all over themselves to help, but not at this location. Inventory is constantly low. Tons of employees running around in orange aprons but not one seems to be able to help and management is non-existent. "Shawn" pointed out where the large trash bags were when we asked (my teen daughter on foot, me in the electric cart b/c of broken foot). Shawn never bothered to walk into the aisle with us and help us find our bags. Turns out what we needed (had purch. them many times before at HD) was not on the floor, my daughter found an employee that searched the computer, found there were 70* in inventory, went back to the aisle w/ us and saw they were on a pallet way up on the top shelf. He said hed go find a fork lift to get them down. 20 minutes later he was still running around "looking for someone" but to his credit he never stopped trying to help us and kept coming back to tell his "he was still working on it". After 20 minutes, I drove the electric chair to Cust. Serv. and asked for a Manager. The lady doing returns wanted to know why. I told her Id prefer to speak w/ a manager. She insisted on knowing why, so I gave her a brief rundown. She left her register at Cust. Serv., came to the aisle with me, I pointed to the pallet the first employee had identified for us and she asked me for the SKU number. How would I know that?! Im the customer!! I told her about the employee running around trying to get a forklift over and she said, "Im a manager and I have the ability to do that, Ill be right back." I never saw her again. 5-10 more minutes pass and Shawn shows up. Turns out hes the store manager??!! Hes the one that originally pointed to the aisle but never bothered to follow through and help us find what we needed (which a manager should w/ someone w/ a cast on in a motor cart). Shawn then said hed get a forklift. After 5-10 more minutes, we decided to leave. Ran into Shawn on the way out. He said to please give him more time. I said no that Id already waited over 35 minutes, but Id appreciate a voucher for free or for a discount for when I went to get the same item at HD in Davie next week. (Keep in mind, w/ a broken foot, its a big deal to park, crutch, get cart, etc., etc.) He said no, he couldnt do that. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE...ESPECIALLY SINCE I DO NOT BELIEVE SHAWN IS A STORE MANAGER. HOW COULD HE BE? HE IS TOTALLY UNTRAINED IN CUSTOMER SERVICE. Besides this one experience, since I had over 35 minutes waiting in that aisle on my cart, I saw that area was "managed by Jason". Well Jasons supervisor should know hes doing a horrible job keeping his isle stocked and back-stocked. There were empty holes of inventory everywhere and full pallets up above. Training IS needed in all departments, apparently, at the Sunrise, FL Home Depot..

Worst service. I went there today (4-4:30) looking for a Bolt and Nut, I had the old ones with me. I asked the service individual that was working in aisle for assistance, he pointed me in a direction where to try the bolt size then indicated they should be on the bottom. I spend the next 30 minutes loking through the drawer and the display wall. This guy never asked if I found what I was looking for. He just carried on with packing stuff out. I wasted 30 minutes and still did not get the item I went for... i will be going to Lowes next weekend, perhaps the service will be better. This is not the first time I have visited this HD and had terrible service.. A couple of weeks ago, I went to purchase items to build a fence, same thing, no one to assist, the shelves were empty, yet the slats and post were outside. I had to wait for them to bring it in. I had a few additional incidents where the service was not good.

Usually go to Home Depot because my Mom cant walk the store and Home Depot provides a mobile cart that is usually fully charged and in good condition for my Mom to drive. However on this past trip there were none available and was about to leave the store when a young male employee by the name of Jean Mark walked up and ask if he could help me in anyway. I explained that I needed a electric cart fore my Mom and some potted plants for my Mom but was unable to walk back for them. He not only went back and retrieved what I needed, but put them on a flat cart and moved them to the register while we waited for him. He followed us to the car and loaded them into the car for us also.

The tool rental department has abismal customer service. I needed a truck that this store had available when I called from another store, but they wouldnt hold the truck for 5 minutes. I drove as fast as possible to get there but the customer right in front of me rented the truck. Charles (the person helping me) didnt even want to help me find a store with an available truck, even though homedepot has an online tool to do just that. Claiming he had tools to clean. After much effort he agreed to call a store, after verifying that the store didnt have the truck he told me again that I would have to call the stores, because he had tools to clean. Go to another store if possible.

I went to this Home Depot store to purchase items on the appliances sales floor. Several associates were at the desk near the kitchen cabinets. After many attempts for assistance, I decided to try back the next day. I was able to get someone to help place an order for gas appliances. I ordered products for delivery from their warehouse. We were in the store 2 hours to get this done. Its been 3 weeks, my card was charged yet, I cant get anyone to tell me where my items are. I was on hold for 14 minutes, 8 minutes, now transfered to the prodesk voicemail. Ill have to get a refund and shop elsewhere.

So Im not sure why this store has a 3.7. Id give it a 5-star because of one employee named AL (nice fellow, knowledgeable, perhaps from up north, and has a stellar pair of glasses!) I am doing a dyi project. I showed him a picture and from that he drew out everything I needed and then helped us find all the items! Mary at checkout was great also. Thank you!!!!!

This is an easy location for getting in and out and usually isnt terribly crowded. If youre looking for anything for home repair, youll probably be able to find it here. The staff is usually pretty knowledgeable and able to help you locate whatever you cant find on your own. I do find the garden area to be a bit lacking in selection and high in price.

I am a 65 year old lady with a disabled son and his bathroom was clogged and even after hiring a plumber the toilet was backed up. I purchased "GREEN GOBBLER", guaranteed to work or money back. Iit was easy to use and It worked!!! and I am relieved since I didnt know what else to do! Thank you!!
