This place is the best!!! I have more than a dozen rental properties and for years got ripped off with the other appliance stores here in Wilmington UNTIL I found The Wherehouse. The Wherehouse has always taken care of me. They are honest trust worthy people who always treat me with dignity and respect and I havent had to buy anymore appliances because theirs works great! I couldnt be happier since I switched years ago to The Wherehouse. I highly recommend this place! I wont let my family shop anywhere else. If you are in need of good working, nice looking and lasting appliances this is definitely the place to go! Also, they have great looking furniture and have sent all of my renters to purchase from them when they need to furnish the home. They deliver as well and are always prompt and professional. Great Experience Here!

I purchased a used washer and dryer for $650.00. So far, it has been the Worst buying experience of my life. As soon as I complained about both units not working properly, Ive been mistreated and verbally abused. Now, the owner has gotten involved and wants to charge me another $200 to exchange it for another pair that is only $600 in their store. So, they want me to pay $850.00 for a washer and dryer that anyone else can walk in and buy today for $600! Ive never heard nor witnessed such bad business practice ever. If it isnt made right by tomorrow, Ill have to do the right thing and tell all I can about it to prevent these people from ever doing this again to our community. Thanks for reading. Rude Unprofessional Delivery guys.Didnt show up the day they said they would. Then showed up without warning. Luckily I was home they were going to leave a washer outside with chance of rain today. Wouldnt touch my dryer to get washing machine in. Didnt take old unit, said they didnt do that but website says they remove. Washer dirty and beat up. They left fence gate open and pushed my trashcan away from road and left them there. Wouldnt recommend....

This place is HUGE!! But Preston the owner has his prices set a little high. Youll notice as you walk further and further back that there are duplicates of almost everything. He buys out old hotels. So he has 100s of the same lamp, dresser, mirror, painting, etc. So if you are something you like up front. Walk further back to see if there are multiples of it. Then make them an offer at a lower price.

BUYER BEWARE! The Wherehouse will not refund your money for any reason. We bought a used fridge on Tuesday, looked wonderful with a new paint job. Plugged it in for a few hours, freezer was actually warm! Returned it on Thursday because it DID NOT WORK! No Refund, only a store credit was offered. Make sure you are 100% pleased with your purchase there before you hand over the money!

I love this place!! I shop here all the time!! The people are so friendly and go out of their way to help me every time Im there. They have really neat furniture and I bought a red stackable washer/dryer unit and it works perfectly!!! I recommend The Wherehouse to my friends all the time

First time visiting the store and the staff was amazing with meeting my needs and helping me find furniture that fit my taste. They have plenty of variety of furniture and all the appliances you could need. The wherehouse is a great place and would recommend to everyone.

This place is an absolute joke. They are way overpriced for heavily worn and used items. Pieces of furniture are broken and yet they still want 100-300 dollars for the items. They sell stuff you can find in the dumpster for free or from a yards ale for 20-50$.

Beyond over priced for consignment items. $375 dressers with water stains, and imperfections, $100-150 chairs that need reupholstering, why not just buy brand new at that point? Needs more competitive pricing for sure!

There is a decent selection of stuff here. Some great treasures but I find the price point to be wildly inflated. Staff seem friendly some times and seem like they couldnt be bothered other times.

Most if the appliances are very dirty, worn, or damaged. Its mostly old hotel furniture, and overpriced big time. There are some unique and neat things, but its few and far between.

As a thrift store and antique mall junkie this place is an awesome find. Definitely the largest used furniture place in the Wilmington area and always have new things coming in!
