This family owned bookstore is enchanting. The moment you walk in the doors you wont want to leave! They carry a number of local authors and there selection is amazing. There is tons of seating and it is very easy to get lost in time when you visit Old Books. I am lucky to have found this gem in downtown Wilmington. The staff and owner are remarkably nice. I cant rave enough about this store. If you are from Wilmington or just visiting, this should definitely be a stop.

I wish I could live here. Not just in Wilmington, but in the actual bookstore. I have family nearby and try to stop and buy a book here on every visit. Great little area for young kids to read and play. Mix of new and old books. Highly knowledgeable staff. Small cafe area with assorted refreshments. Community bulletin board with local info and events.
