I have been getting my comics from Jakes Memory Lane Comics for the last eight years. I am an active duty Marine and finding a quality comic book shop is one of the first things I look for at a new duty station. I have deployed for extensive amounts of time since arriving to NC and each time Ive returned Jake has all my books waiting for me. Not only that, but he also sent along some that I could read while I was deployed. All employees of the shop make it a family setting as they all know each customers likes and make great recommendations. I was looking for mini-series once and was told that I wasnt going to like it and it was just a filler and that Id be better off spending my money on something I would enjoy. From the collector who has been collecting for over 30 years to the new joins who walk in the door for the first time, everyone is treated as if they had been there forever. Anything I write here will never be enough on how well their service is.

I have been a box subscriber for 6+ years at Memory Lane Comics. Jake, Adam and Ben are outstanding guys. They treat you like family and are always willing to go far beyond the call of duty to find exactly what you are looking for. They carry an extensive stock of new comics, vintage comics, back stock, action figures and so much more. When you enter the shop, you are immediately aware that you are in comic heaven. I couldnt imagine living in Wilmington, NC and going to any other comic shop. Their customer service, professionalism and overall greatness defines how MLC does business. I would highly recommend Memory Lane Comics to anyone who is looking for a comic shop to subscribe to or just to pick up a few odds and ends.

Love the new storefront! The guys at MLC are kind, knowledgeable and passionate about their work. The statues are priced to move quick, and they always have the back issues and new releases I need. If you need something that is not in stock, they can usually get it for you. Im so glad I started a subscription service here. The store adds a classic feel that downtown is notorious for. Perfect store, perfect crew, perfect location.

Great store! I usually go to comic stores to buy back issues, and they had a decent selection. What really sets this store over the top is the customer service. After finding numerous comics I wanted, the worker there proceeded to give me a generous discount, even though this was just my first time shopping there. The discount was so good that I went back in and bought more comics! Highly recommend!

Nice folks here. We were visiting the area and tried a couple of places. I think this location is a bit small and hard to see, especially from the street. TONS of statues/figures, but not a whole lot in the way of actual comics. Great place to hang out for a bit, but Id look elsewhere for older books and backstock.

Hands down best in Wilmington, and one of the nicest Ive ever been in. The owners are super nice and always willing to chat, especially if youve never been to a comic book store they can lead you in the right direction.

Great store worth, going downtown. Found a great Deathstroke collectible for my son plus some great old school comics. Nice guys too. Small but a good mix of toys and comics.
