I would never go to this store again. I went several times to this location where the vegetables and fruits were already rotten. Strawberries were covered with mold, cauliflower with black dots and Cucumbers were soft. The descent ones, the one that were just okay, and hard to find, mold the next day in my fridge. I returned them the same day and heard other customers complaining about the freshness of the products. Since Sprouts was pretty new ( opened 4 month ago), I was at first indulgent and patient but seeing no improvement of their quality, even after several complaints from customers, Im no longer attracted by this store. They stand for being a fresh local market but they cant manage to be one. Im familiar with Sprouts from the West Coast and was so excited to see them coming here, in Raleigh. After wasting so much money as well as food, unless they radically change, I will no longer shop there. The only good thing are the employees, always welcoming and helpful. Unfortunately they are not the only key to a successful store.

The produce is good quality, on par with but no better than Kroger. Tiny little meat section crammed in the back corner; rather pricey but seems to be fresher than most places. They do have fresh lamb chops and cutlets, which is a pretty rare thing. Very disappointed with their bulk spices. Consists of two end row displays, only one of which was bulk and that one had very limited variety. The non-bulk spices were quite reasonably priced but again limited variety. There is a quite impressive selection of bulk nuts and seeds right in the middle of the store. Similarly impressive coffee bean and tea selection. Lots of organic/vegan/gluten free options in the snack/baking area. Great selection of honeys and syrup too. Overall it is a pretty nice store, although definitely not up to the hype swirling around when it opened. Recommend it if you specifically want the organic, vegan, etc. options or slightly more specialty items. Doesnt really mesh with my own needs though so I probably wont be back.

Coming from Phoenix, I was a bit disappointed to be leaving Sprouts behind when my family and I moved east. We shopped at Sprouts weekly. The other "health" stores in Raleigh didnt really wow me, or were too over priced to shop at consistently. Then, a few months ago, the grocery gods must tuned in on my discontent because I heard that Raleigh was going to be getting a Sprouts! I visited the Raleigh Sprouts for the first time on 3/15 and was relieved that the quality of the products and service were the same as the rest of Sprouts. Sure, Sprouts was a little too busy for my liking when I went, but I also went opening week and during peak grocery shopping time. If youve exclusively shopped Whole Foods or Harmony Farms, do yourself a favor and give Sprouts a try. I do not think you or your wallet will be disappointed.

Nuther high priced grocery store. They have some good loss leader sales going right now. We will see how prices fare going forward. Competition for the consumers $ is a good thing. Hopefully more Sprouts and Publix will lower grocery prices in the area which are sky high right now. Too many people wandering around lost in Sprouts and those are the employees. Found a couple items we buy a lot with no prices on them or on the shelf. They had no organic milk in wax cartons that wasnt 3 prices. Eggs and cheeses were high as well. Some items in paper advertised as 88cents were actually 88cents per pound.

This is a great new addition to the upscale markets in North and midtown Raleigh. For now the prices are great, the selection is excellent and tell quality is top notch. If you like Fresh Market you will love this. They even have real yams that arent sweet potatoes. No kosher meats but a large selection of kosher other products including cheeses. A few things go to be aware of though are; theres not much in prepackaged deli, they over pack the bags and the cart return is on a hill and the carts will clunk into someones car. But these are minor things

Reguar Whole Foods and Trader Joes shopper here. First week of course was great. Food looked great, prices good. In the weeks following it has gone downhill no matter the day I go. Not one head of broccoli was green, 5 jalapenos all shriveled, even the salad in the containers were brown before buying... the sprouts brand protein powder is inedible cold, baked, smoothies. Nothing. There is no way the parking is up to code. And the amount of kids Ive seen with their hands in the barrels... disgusting.

Time after time, the customer service here is top-notch! I love this place! Not only does it have an excellent selection of specialty items, fresh organic produce, and dairy products, but the prices are fantastic! (A couple of days ago, I was at Sprouts near closing time. Special kudos to all who helped me locate a few difficult-to-find items -- ground fennel, anyone? -- without as much of a second thought. I was blown away by the friendliness and the willingness to help, even at closing time!)

This is my new favorite grocery store in the Raleigh area. It reminds me of a fancier Trader Joes, but without being as expensive or pretentious as Whole Foods. You probably wont be able to do all your grocery shopping here (their selection of frozen food and cereal isnt great), but the quality and prices of their fresh foods are amazing. My wife and I have filled up an entire cart for $60. Wednesday is the best day to shop here, because their specials from the previous week and the next week overlap.

Came here for the grand opening and again 3 weeks later with a $10 off when you spend 40 coupon. I room to aimless for a good 20 minutes and realize the prices arent that great so I handed the coupon to somebody in line and left. I dont know what all the hoopla is about. The vitamins alone are more than double the price that you can purchase anywhere else. One in particular I was going to buy I can get for $7 and it was 28 same brand same bottle same size.

Store was very clean, good selection & very attentive and courteous employees. However parking is a complete nightmare. Limited, chaotic parking situation. Had very upsetting experience with two different older couples trying to park. Road Rage is out of control in Raleigh & people seriously need to think twice before making obscene gestures toward fellow customers. This has resulted in violence in many situations.

I agree with Paul Crocketts review. First time here and loved the quality for the price. The section that really caught my attention is the homeopathic all natural health section! As a person with allergies and sensitivities I could really use a place like this. Still trying their brands out to see if I like it better than my usual but Im sure Ill definitely be back.

Love this new grocery store right near my house! Great fresh fruit and veggie offerings as well as a well priced selection of Sprout brand grocery items. I loved that they also carry some of the name brand items that my family likes. Nice weekly sale ad and friendly staff too. Only caveat is that its often crowded and the isles are narrow. Great otherwise!
