I went to the Salon the other day to get my hair dyed. I was looking forward to getting a fun color in my hair for the first time, and I was able to show Cassie (the hairdresser) a picture of exactly what I wanted. Cassie was super friendly and nice, and we were able to have a nice conversation while she was lightening my hair. However, the real troubles began when she got another customer. I was waiting with my hair in the sink for an extremely long time and she had to ask some of the other hairdressers to take over in terms of washing. Finally, Cassie was able to come back to me and hurriedly blow dried my hair as she was late in picking her boyfriend up. I dont mind that at all, and I totally understand, but when I looked in the mirror I was horrified! My hair is naturally black and I wanted a purple balayage with extreme saturation at the tips. The second half of my hair just looked lighter brown! I was disappointed that I had to spend $180 on something that wasnt even noticeable! I understand that my hair is extremely dark and that is why it might not have shown up, but she could have at least told me that when I showed her the picture BEFORE I blew my money. The only reason why I gave the two stars is because of how friendly Cassie was and how the other employees were extremely helpful when I was browsing other products. I dont think Ive ever been so disappointed with a hair service.

So Im usually a huge fan of the place and went with high hopes for a haircut having gotten one done before too for a trim . I asked the hairdresser named Taylor to cut off two inches and showed her how much and also specified that id like a layered cut . She didnt inform me or ask me any questions throughout the process and just kept at doing what she did . She didnt check in with me and just said she will probably cut it a quarter inch shorter than I asked and I said fine . When I looks back , she had chopped off 6 inches of my long hair and rather than layers the front layer and back were almost the same . I hate my new look and Ive had long hair all my life so I really dont know how to go about this . To top it all she gave me the most pathetic blow dry that slicked down my hair and made it look oily. I didnt want to create a scene and reprimand her since I couldnt get my hair back and I should have checked in between maybe but even then there is no level of professionalism and horrid customer service . Didnt want to tip and was asked three times if Id like to but I didnt give anything . Im thoroughly annoyed and dont want to look myself in the mirror cause I look ridiculous and now wont be coming back ever .

Love the store! I love going shopping here! There are a great variety of beauty products to choose from. There is a beautiful selection of them. Customer service is also pretty good, but could use a little work. I wanted to get hair extensions for my high school graduation and some lady asked my mom "Whats going on? Is she getting married?" I felt hurt by this because even though I may look older, I am only 18 years old. Also salon ladies, women dont always come here for wedding makeup/hair. They come for other occasions as well. Please keep that in mind. However, the women who did my makeup/hair for my high school graduation did a wonderful job! It definitely made some heads turn! When I do ask for help though, the women working do a great job of making beauty recommendations for the look I want and for my skin tone. Also during the check out, phrases such as "Have you found everything okay?" and saying a "Thank you" or "Have a nice day" would be greatly appreciated. Thank you though for making the store enjoyable and a nice shopping experience for young women like me.

I have to say....I shop at ULTA on a regular basis and never have I felt invisible in my life until I visited this NEW Morrisville location. And never will I shop ULTA again! I was not greeted when I walked in the store....needless to say the customer that entered the door behind me was greeted. I walked around aimlessly because I could not find what I was looking for. As I approached an associate, she turned to do something else.WHY WAS I NOT ASKED AM I FINDING EVERYTHING OK???? I finally found what I was looking for after 15 minutes. When I got to the register, there were exactly 4 associates behind the counter and one in front of the counter, but yet I patiently waited for 4 WHOLE minutes to be asked was I ready to check out. NO other customer was in front on me. So I dont get that at all. If it was not my husbands birthday (and if I had time) I would have left my purchase there.Thank you Morrisville NC store for helping me find another vendor.

Im a fan of both the store and the salon of this Ulta location. Maybe its just because I went from a small town to a more populated area, but I feel this Ulta has way more products than what I could find in store back home. Especially for Korean skin care! The staff is polite and friendly, I prefer to be left alone when shopping for the most part but when I do seek out employee advice Ive found it solid. I just tried the salon portion today and really enjoyed the results, Gemina (really hope I got that right, Im awful with names!) did a great job cutting and styling my hair and I felt the price was fair. Overall a great Ulta location!

I didnt really see what I was looking for when I went in so I was about to leave empty handed when Katie approached me and asked if I needed assistance. I told her my makeup concerns and she recommended not only the makeup I should try but also skin care products that would also help me. I found her to be very knowledgeable, personable, and I left with over $100 in new products, which so far have all been excellent recommendations. Thank you Katie for your help!

This is my favorite go to store for beauty supplies! Each experience I have had at this location has been nothing, but positive. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Always willing to be of assistance. Im by far not the most experienced with applying makeup, but Courtney and Katie helped me find the perfect products for my needs. More businesses should have employees as wonderful and professional! Thank you Ulta Morrisville, NC =)

The staff is not ready to help you. I asked one of the associate a question about my contour color what would suit me and teh answer I got was we have this available there are some in the front. She did not answer my question at all!!!! There customer service is pathetic but the make up selection is good there.

When I visit this location, I always get an angry scowl by the cashier, instead of a "Hello, how are you?". Is it because I am male? Id probably guess yes. Thanks Ulta, Ill be shopping on Amazon from now on for the products I need. This lack of customer service is why online companies are dominating. Pathetic.
