This is my first negative review ever. Let me start by saying that and I am a 48 year old designer that does runway multiple times a year, so I often need a neighborhood beauty supply near by. On this particular visit I purchased 2 hair extensions at the Sallys in Hendersonville. I specifically asked to NOT buy human hair because I feel it is an unethical practice and product. The sales assistant and I looked together and decided on 2 packs of clip ins that had 2 in each pack. I get them home and start preparing the braids for runway. I open 1 pack and pull them out, I notice immediately that they are human hair. I was upset because I had specifically asked for non human hair and I knew because I had opened the 1 pack that I was going to have to eat the money I spent on it. BUT I thought since the other pack was in pristine condition, never been opened, AND I had a receipt, that I could at the VERY least exchange it for something else in the store ESPECIALLY when they sold me human hair which I specifically said I did not want ! I did not once ask for a refund, all I wanted to do was exchange it. I thought I could get a make up product to use in the runway show. Nope, I had to eat the price of both (over 30 dollars) THEN drive all the way to Asheville for non human hair for the show. Needles to say I was livid, my husband was livid. We moved near the Hendersonville Sallys 2 months ago and have since bought all of our product at that store, but not anymore. I was so appalled, that they will NEVER get another penny from this woman, and trust when I say I would have done ALOT of business there. All because they would not EXCHANGE something I had a receipt for. They are going to attempt to say we dont take back hair. Maybe they shouldnt have sold me human hair from Chinese sweatshop workers to begin with, its unethical. Just like their business practices..

I love this store. I buy all my hair coloring products here. Everyone is helpful and nice and always willing to share ideas on new products. They stay well stocked and always have sales going on.
