Can you find good stuff here? Of course! After considerable thought and a conversation with Blake Addison, the owner, and in good faith, I placed several fine pieces including, antique furniture, dinnerware, art, lamps, and more on consignment. Its quite possible, some of what you may have purchased may have formerly been in my home. My decision to enter an agreement here, however, may not have been the smartest one. After many months, I have not received adequate payment. Instead, I have been made to feel I have no right to question 1) why not 2) when each item was sold and 3) at what price it was sold. In fact, my inquiries were dismissed and I was told to only see the good reviews. I wonder, however, how interesting the reading would be if the writer had also been taken advantage of. After all, the business retains one-half of the money collected from the sale of each item. Sadly, that has proven not to be enough. My property and the money from each individual sale is no longer in my reach. I have been robbed! If I may leave but one bit of advice it would this -- be diligent regarding your property, even if it means visiting the store everyday to see it out on the floor with your own eyes. Finally, take photos!

I have visited Classic Treasures twice - once in March and again this week. It is my absolute favorite consignment shop - great variety - booths with well-chosen items - many unique - and just the right involvement by Blake, the owner. He is readily available, - has a friendly demeanor but is at the same time professional and knowledgeable, straight-forward, no games - not pushy, snooty or overly familiar - treats lovely ladies and old geezers such as myself just the same - with respect. For items too large to carry from the store, he will deliver quite reasonably and reliably; the delivery men were helpful - went above and beyond in service. They arrived at the time promised - realized a small item was missing from a heavily loaded truck - checked with me about that and returned with it later in the day. What really pushed me to finally write this review (Im a terrible procrastinator) is that AFTER I purchased some items (old desk, end tables, bookcase, etc.), they were clearly cleaned and touched up before delivery. Blake had already made the sale, and I was gone. How classy is that? I can see why his employees seem to feel good about working there.

I purchased a lovely curio cabinet in excellent condition at half price. I cannot say if the price was fair or not (to the consignor); I only know that it was worth, to me, what I paid for it. The owner was friendly and professional, and was willing to hold it for me a bit longer than usual while I made up my mind and returned. The delivery was prompt and professional. They arrived at one oclock on the dot, and were very careful of my own furniture and the cabinet as they brought it in. One of the men took time to make certain that the cabinet was level on my somewhat sloping floor, pointed out a feature I had not even noticed and gave me some tips on buying and replacing the bulbs. The delivery charge was, I think, a bit pricey but worth it, as I would not have trusted anyone to bring it on the back of a pickup! I have had it a little over a week, and I am still pleased by the cabinet and the whole experience from purchase to delivery.

At first was impressed with professionalism of salesperson on telephone, by the name of Kristy (sp?), who told me in writing and on the phone that she would give me so much for an antique table set with chairs and buffet. She said nothing about the percentage for consignment (50%) either in writing or on the telephone or that after so many days on the floor, the percentage would decrease to 25%. This was only explained to me when the movers came to pick up the furniture. I did not agree to the terms and the next day called Kristy and told her that she had not been clear about the consignment percentage (50%) and the further decrease (25%) after so many days on the floor. I told her that I run my own business and if I was not clear with my clients, the way she was with me, that I would get no more business

We saw a bunch of negative reviews so were expecting a bad experience, but we were very pleasantly surprised. The prices seemed very reasonably to us - we found something we liked, and they were able to deliver it (a full table and 6 chairs) to our house only a few hours later for $35. We were impressed. One small snag - they said they would deliver at 4:00 and that they would notify us if they were running late. We called at 4:45 and they had a bit of a "take a chill pill" attitude towards me which seemed silly since they were running late and had not contacted us. Besides that little issue, everything else went really well.

My SO and I just recently moved to the area and we came by here just to give it a look. We ended up finding a couch we LOVED and the manager gave us a really good price on it to boot. On top of that he squeezed us into that evenings delivery schedule (on the house). I cant say that you should expect to get a free delivery but these guys are well worth your business. When we need more furniture this is the first place we will go. Top notch business.

Pauli and her team helped me find a beautiful dining room table with custom-made benches, made from reclaimed NC barn wood, plus a beautiful Restoration Hardware-like cart, all in my price range. Great place to shop for high quality used furniture, and good prices on super cool new mid-century furniture. I bought a very nice used leather sofa and chair set, was very happy with the quality, price and delivery. I stop by every few weeks to see whats new in the shop. The owners are very friendly and welcoming. A pleasure to shop here!
