Could not get anyone to help me get a basked down the last time I visited. I approached a salesperson and she completely ignored me TWICE. I had to go to the front of the store and wait in line for a checker to call someone. When I finally did bring the product to the front of the store to check out, they hounded me for my email to join some silly club. I said NO, but they kept hounding and telling me how many benefits and sales crap I would be privy to. No means NO. I used to shop at Cost Plus . . . I bought platters from Portugal, glasses from Mexico, etc. But now their inventory is almost exclusively "Made in China", and the quality has gone down to the point of a ninety-nine cent store, not to mention the cashier hounding you for your email/signup. Bye Bye Cost Plus!

I went to five different stores last Saturday to find some gift baskets for new neighbors with no luck. Then I thought about the World Market in Cary. After wandering around the store for 10 minutes, I asked one of their associates, Jordan, if they had any gift baskets in stock. He told that they didnt except around the holidays but that he could help me make them. He went around the store with me helping me pick out the baskets, recommending goodies to go inside within my price range, helped me checkout, and then proceeded to fix the gift baskets very professionally. They were a big hit with the neighbors and it was top notch customer service. Thanks to Jordan and World Market for making my day!

If you have been to one World Market you have been to them all and that is what makes them successful..consistency! This Cary location fits the bill, chock-full of incredible merchandise from around the world - set up in a way that could keep you shopping for hours. From furniture, chinaware, wines, coffee and food, there is something for everyone here. What my key find here is the coffee. For about 9.00 you can buy a 2lb bag of premium coffee beans and grind them with their coffee grinder. The coffee is awesome and where else can you find a deal like that? They also carry hard to find items and specialty items that make it worth the trip. Highly recommend.

I shop this World Market location at least once a month. They carry Torani sugar-free syrups that I use in my hot beverages, and several healthful snacks that I enjoy. The store is usually quite clean, and displays are attractive and changed frequently. The staff deserves a five start rating - they are always friendly, helpful and courteous. The only reason I did not give the store five stars is the fact that they are frequently out of stock on some of the items I regularly look for, so I have to return on a later date. World Market is a great place to go for unusual gifts, foods, beverages and kitchen ware.

Got in line where female employee was helping someone with a custom order but she did not acknowledge or tell me it would take a long time and to go to another register. Went to other register where older gentleman was a little rude and did not help me to get a world market customer account. He just processed my order and told me I dont have a member account, goodbye. Younger staff were pleasant and accommodating. Many things sitting out in boxes and not stocked. Normally I love world market but this one is a little shady, Ill still to the one in triangle town center.

I always love meandering around the World Market at Crossroads. Whether it be for a special kitchen utensil or some new spice/sauce to cook with. Their wines are impressive and usually at good prices. They also are a go to place for me when looking for a special closing gift for a client. I find things for bed/bath/kitchen that I dont see everywhere else.

Great store, 99% of the time they have in stock what I am looking for. The Beer Captain is very knowledgeable and generally can stir you in the right direction of a good brew. The only downside i have found with this store is the bathrooms, the Mens bathroom reminded me of the worst bathroom in Scotland from the movie Trainspotting.

This is such a lovely store with even more lovely workers :) I work next store and whenever I have a lunch break, I almost always go there and get stuff for my coworkers. Nearly everyone knows me by name and they care deeply. :) I recommend the Hawaiian kettle style potato chips in sweet Maui onion :)

I love the products that they offer, I just wish they were organized a tad better. The helpful staff helps even out the layout of the store. I love that if an item is not available, you can order it and it will be reserved for you when it arrives at the store.

Great store. Not sure why its now called cost plus world market. Some items priced well, some well over the normal pricing. Large specialty beer selection as well as a large wine selection. Furniture is unique but way overpriced.

Cool store with interesting stuff you dont find anywhere else at these prices! I go for the tea cakes, Barrys Tea (when my boss from Ireland comes into town) and the lemon wafers - love em with coffee.

This place is like an upscale flea market or garage sale. The way items are laid out all over the store in a maze like fashion is actually enjoyable. My wife is always finding little nick knacks here.
