Customer Service is NOT key here!!!! No welcome to Brus, No hello when walking in the door. Not to mention every person working there, manager included is clueless and rude on top of it ALL. Store has no respect or care towards expectant mothers or people in general. I went in the store forgetting my 10 percent off coupon home, I then told the cashier there that and she assured me it was fine as they can use print outs they already had in the store. I go get ALL of my items, bring them to the register and its not working and out of all three workers there, NO ONE HAD A CLUE OR ATTEMPTED to come to a resolution. They are standing around looking at each other and every single one had the most dumb founded look upon their faces. OK, so my husband and I decide we will just go home and order online and use our 10 percent (that works) and pick up in store with the GUARANTEED 1 hour pick up promise PER THE POLICY! Of course, I should of known that this was WAY to hard for them to do. Its now going on 2 hours and no pick up ready email or call. I decided to call, wow it took FIVE attempts (LITERALLY) to get someone to pick up the phone. Now you would think they were SLAMMED, but they were NOT. I know this because in the time it took calling 5x, on the fifth call to them I was outside the store, looking at everyone standing around. So FINALLY on the last attempt, the comical "manager" answers, "Hello?!" (with a rude attitude) I say hello, and asked what time is the store closing today? His response, excuse me?! (With the SAME rude attitude) I repeat my question again. Oh we close at 10PM. I then proceed to tell him, well how come its taken 5 attempts to get someone to answer the phone?! No response. I then explain, I ordered items online 2 hrs ago and have YET to receive any contact, where is my order? whats the status? Ummm Maam it takes 4 hrs to get orders ready, WHAT?!!?!? I have used the 1 hour store pick up else locations and NEVER been told this ridiculousness. He said we dont have an order for you, without even checking he knows this information. He did NOT ask me for any order # or confirmation, name, nothing!!!! I then hang up on him because I cannot take anymore attitude and lack of customer service skills. I then cancel my order with BRUS customer service via telephone which ALSO gave me the RUN AROUND, I spoke to about 5 people before coming to a resolution. Everyone via the 1-800 # had their own answers, no one gave me the SAME answer. I also cancelled the whole thing on my banks end, so no worries but being almost 38 weeks pregnant I WOULD NEVER DEAL WITH THIS STORE EVER AGAIN!!!! I rather travel to the South Park location vs this one. GOOD LUCK to everyone who will continue to shop here. I reported the whole situation to their corporate and actually spoke with the store manager and she was VERY understanding and helpful. I still would never shop here again because it really should not take all of this for baby items on a registry.

I come here a lot, I do spend far more money than I should on most occasions, I suppose its the fact that I am a new mom all new baby things are cool, awesome, must have items until you realize just how useless they can be :-). I needed a new stroller, I purchased the chicco liteway stroller because a friend of mine had one and absolutely loved it and after a 4 months of use I absolutely hated it. Its poor design hard to open, yada yada SO I found the Babies r us trendsport stroller online, fell in love with it and went to purchase it. They had the floor model for sale and the young man I spoke with said it was discontinued, It was missing the cup holder but it was in good condition and I wanted it so I made the purchase and hoped the manufacturer would replace it ( never heard back from them btw) This was several weeks ago. I went their today, went looking to see if by chance they had the boys version left in hopes them might be willing to let me have that floor models cup holder, and to my amazement my stroller was in stock. I got an associate who Directed me to another young lady, (she was amazingly happy and upbeat) She allowed me to return the stroller with no hassle, assembled a new one right out of the box, and proceeded to give me a discount which made the stroller even less than the discounted price I paid. I seriously won today and I was just so pleased with the customer service and with her I think her name was Amanda, she seriously deserves some major praise! Thank you so much for such wonderful experience, I will continue to use babies r us for all my baby needs!

This store is awful! My husband and I ordered a glider that was in stock at the warehouse and would arrive at the store in 5-7 days. We were called about 6 days later saying it had arrived and was ready for pick up. When we went to pick it up my husband noticed that the color listed on the box was stone and thats not what we ordered. So we opened the box to check and not only was it the wrong color but wrong glider style. So we told them it was the wrong glider and they didnt have any more in the store so had to order it again. We reordered the glider on Saturday and was told it would be in on Friday. The following Saturday I called to see if it had arrived and I was told it did not arrive it will be in on Tuesday. I was really bummed it had not come in as promised but thought I can wait till Tuesday. On Wednesday I called yet again to check on the status as I had not received a phone call and the store employee said it did not come in and asked for my order number. I did not have my order number on me and asked him if I should just cancel and order it myself. At that point he said he didnt even know what I ordered. I just told him to forget it as it probably will never come in and well just order it ourselves. I am so frustrated with this whole process. They are not a customer friendly store at all. If I could give it "0" stars I would.

Drive to the one in Gastonia if you can. The people who work at this location have no clue what they are doing. Ive returned things from my registry and they always give me less than what the person paid for it. When I ask for an explanation, they say "I dunno, its what the computer is ringing as". I expect to get back what was paid for the item so I take it to another location and they have no issues. Dont get me started on the wait to checkout. Maybe twice Ive been there and they have a regular checkout line open. Usually, only customer service is open which would be fine if not everyone was returning things, ordering online, etc. If all I need to do is purchase a few things, I dont want to wait in line 15 min. They need to get their priorities straight. The Gastonia location has been super helpful and knowledgeable plus they take competitors coupons.
