Very disappointed in this store. I had received a gift certificate as a gift from this store and the expiration date was 11/19/2016. (A gift card with an expiration date is disappointing, in the first place!) I googled "From Here to Maternity" and found a Facebook page and the google listing that said the store was open and located on Johnnie Dodds in Mount Pleasant. I drove there during my lunch break and found a vacant store front. I googled again to make sure I wasnt imagining things and called the corresponding phone number which brought me to a new baby store called Lowcountry Baby Boutique who said they no longer accept the gift certificates of From Here to Maternity. Apparently, the stores have the same owners and they want to keep the customer based and brand recognition...just not ALL of the customer base. I was told that there are different parent companies (to local small businesses?) so they couldnt accept the gift certificate. I am disappointed that they are keeping the same domain names and phone numbers and only the pieces of the business that benefit their bottom line. Needless to say, I did not have an opportunity to visit the store and will be sharing my unfortunate experience and waste of money with others.

From a fathers perspective (and Amzon/big Box guy--keep it simple when shopping). FHTM staff is wonderful and understands the needs of expecting parents. It was our first and we were a bit overwhelmed with all the stuff we needed. We had no idea this stuff existed. There were contraptions and devices of all kind (rockers, strollers, squeezers, teasers, soothers, sleepers. . . 1-Zs, 2-Zs, 3-Zs, whoa-Zs was me-Zs). They realized this quickly and put us at ease. Did I mention they have a couch for dads. In all seriousness, they provided guidance when needed, answered our questions, and addressed our concerns. Like many first timers, we were getting tons of input from family and friends. All good right? We realized everyone is different and what worked for their situation may not work us. FHTM boiled down the features and benefits for the many choices we had to make. This simplified our decision making (can you imagine thoroughly researching 20 products online in < an hour). One final note, we found most of their prices to be in the same range as the big boxes but quite a few were less. It kind of surprised me. Thank you for your service.

For over a decade, From Here to Maternity has been my "go-to-spot" for not only amazing outfits for my maternity clients, but it is THE BEST place to get baby gifts and surcies and essentials for my pals and clients who are expecting a bundle! I even tell "grandparents" they must stop by! The owner and her staff are super-friendly and helpful. FAIR WARNING: I have two boys (11 & 7) and each time I go in this amazing store a small part of me (almost-LOL) wishes I were preggers again so I could wear some of these super-stylish duds or use some of these cool products!
