My self-confidence was severely diminished after going to this salon in February. My hair was down to the middle of my back, and my hairdresser literally gave me a fullet. My longest layer was past my shoulders, and my shortest layer was about 5 or 6 inches from my head.... all the way around. To this day, I can barely look at myself in the mirror I hate my hair so much. And that is atypical to my character- this kind of stuff usually doesnt bother me. I had to have another 4 inches or so cut off in attempts to look less like Billy Ray Cyrus. Yes, Billy Ray- my students literally made fun of me and called me that for weeks, thats how bad it looked. I am only in my mid 20s and look like a soccer mom from the 80s. I cant believe she cut my hair like this- the stylist I have where Im living right now thinks it was something she did on purpose.... she literally saw me and said "Aw. Wow. Whoever did that to you is so mean. That couldnt have been an accident." I am not a fussy person. I am an easy client and tip well. I have no clue why that woman made me look like this. I miss my long hair and am just praying that it grows out fast. I feel so ugly- I know I sound like Im overreacting, but it was literally the worst haircut Ive ever had. Everyone in my life just tells me how bad my hair looks all the time, and buys me headbands. I dont want to spout out names on the internet- there are a few decent stylists there Im sure- but I will never go back to this salon. If you care enough about your appearance to not take the chance of having to spend an entire- what Im guessing will be a - year to grow your hair back out, dont go to this salon. Seriously.

This JCPENNY, has very poor customer service. The staff usually have poor attitudes and are extremely unprofessional. So thats the one reason I dont shop at either store. Even if they have deals, you can always find comparable deals elsewhere, whether thats at retail stores or online. I had a salesman offer to help me find sheets only to see three minutes later that he was helping another customer. I just told him that I didnt need his help and left. He replied as I was walking away that he did look. The last time I was there, I was going to grab a bigger size of a top I had in my hand. It was a couple minutes before closing. A man came up to me and stated they were closing. I said I only needed a minute. He responded with,"we dont have a minute". I left the top and left the store. JCPENNY is not worth the poor customer service.

Terrible place to shop. My son and I tried to buy him a wedding band for his wedding, took well over an hour.Had to order online didnt work ,finally the girl said the order went through. Well then I received two rings charged for both and two lifetime warrentys. Took one back another hour of my time and also wanted my ring sized. Now they tell me thats impossible,OMG.I said they said it can be sized. Just got off the phone with Nicole, no Im sorry or anything, nothing. The most terrible customer service I have EVER experienced anywhere. Looks to me like you closed the wrong store in Syracuse,this is not a JCP Store that I have shopped at for over 40year!!! You really need to hire people who know the job they are supposed to be working. My charge card better not be charged any interest because of all of their mistakes.

The Portrait studio experience is very poor. We gave them two tries... Both experiences were bad. The majority of the staff has very poor attitudes with each other and with the customers. Poor customer service. Unprofessional. Both sessions were extremely rushed with a very high anxiety feel from the staff. The only reason they got 2 stars is because we got a few decent pictures the second time around. The manager of JCP itself is actually very nice though. Accommodating and caring. JCP Portrait Studio is NOT associated with JCP itself.

First, I want to say the people that give this place 1 star in the reviews are petty people. Lol. A review consists of more than just saying "customer service sucks" Yes, its important but it doesnt mean the store sucks. The people working at the store just suck. I dont know about you but I go to JC Penny to shop, not for customer service. A lot of people suck at their job at a lot of places. The store has a huge selection and good stuff. But yes, customer service sucks so they lose a star.

A new beauty department was recently opened a but there are minimal products available. Many things hadnt been delivered, or were out of stock. The employees were unable to answer basic questions and were not helpful. I asked several employees if they knew when some of the products such as eyeshadow pallets and specific brushes might be in, or if there was a timeline that they could be expected, no one had an answer or even knew what days they would receive shipments

Spent 15 minute looking for someone to help me find mens dress shoes to no avail. The mens dress section didnt have any sizes ( I wear an 11 so pretty common) over 8. Will not return to any jcpenny because of the lack of staff & willingness to help when I did find someone. Macys was glad to help so Ill shop there !

The store has a good variety of products in home goods and clothing. Many different brands available and a nice clean layout. The prices are average but you can sign up for emails and coupons make they buys a lot better.

I shopped at JCPENNEY at Destiny USA in Syracuse,NY. The cashier named Morgan was attentive, helpful, and resolved all our issues with a good mood and pleasant demeanor. Great store in general, always great service.
