I am not sure where they find their employees at, but their customer service is terrible! The employee at the register was very rude, as if I am interrupting her while shes playing on her phone. When handed her a bill with payment by check, she literally said,"what am I supposed to do with this?" She is not the first employee there that I had no clue what she was doing, but none of them were as rude as her. Finally got someone there that could help & I thanked the lady for coming over & helping the young girl out (actually what Im supposed to say because its common courtesy of course), & the young girl said nothing else to me(example, thank you come again)so I told her,"see you learn something new everyday,& thank you for your help". You would of thought that I disrespected her mother the way she looked up at me, & she never said one word besides"what am I supposed to do with that?" I asked the young lady behind customer service to use her stapler to staple everything together, she pshhhd & started mubbling something so only she knew what was being said, & when I was done I thanked her, & she never said youre welcome or anything because I interrupted her flirting with the cart boys. Never again will I buy anything from that store, & its literally 3 minutes from me, but now on Ill take the ride to rt.40 because there is no way possible any other Kmart is like College Squares.

I found this Kmart a couple years ago while driving through Newark, Although I had driven sort of past it many times before I had never noticed it there before. I like shopping at Kmart in general for clothing as I like their Basic Editions line of clothing since it has larger sizes but not at an exorbitant price. Since I have had a hard time finding clothes that fit properly and dont really feel like wasting a lot of time looking elsewhere I am always stopping in at any Kmart when I see one in my travels. Unfortunately though in recent years I have seen several close down as apparently other stores have come in and taken away business from them but if the other stores dont sell good product then why do people shop there instead of a place where you can find all sorts of household, automotive as well as clothing options from head to toe to satisfy your daily shopping needs.

Did my Christmas layaways at this store. 3 in total. The first pick up was before the holidays in october. I waited at the desk for an hour for them to find my layaway. Then, after the hour they only come out with half my order. Waited another half hour for them to find the rest. As I type Im picking up my final 2 layaways and have been here a half hour for them to search for my first order. Havent even gotten to my second order yet. My advise, if you shop here for the holidays never use the layaway. They hire air heads who lose things and try to send you off with half of your stuff. Next year Id rather pay the extra money and just use toys r us or wait to do a layaway at Walmart. Never again!!!

This place is worst than Ames right before it shut down. Last trip there the electronics section is all but stripped down to the bare minimum. The appliance section has maybe four things to look at. And there was a whole daek area in the back corner near automotive and toys wear the lights were out? Broken? This place is a joke. You would think with a lack of costumers youd be able to be in and out, no for some reason there is always a line, that never moves.

Under staffed and under stocked. This place used to be great but is being completely neglected by management. It is like they are trying to chase their customers away. Update: hire some cashiers or reopen the self checkout!!!

Dirty store. Never a second cashier open. Never any products on the shelves. Over priced poorly made products. Staff always unhelpful. Management always standing around talking to each other but never speaks to the customers.

Run down, unprofessional managers, this store shows why the brand is going out of business. Prices much higher than other stores so when on sale, you break even. Never clean or stocked. Clothing falls apart quickly.
