If you want to see the fattest biggest freaks on the planet where no one speaks English swing by this place... it is the oddest place you have ever been.. you could make a documentary here on what the planet is becoming this store is like no other store in the world... you really have to see it first-hand to understand it its a very very disturbing sight to see when youre a hard-working American.. most patrons all park right by the front door and steal all the handicap spots because they are fat ...usually every Rascal is out in use... if you are handicapped dont count on getting a scooter the fat people take them all and they ride around.. a good tip at this location is to go very early in the morning and do not go anywhere near it the first week of the month... Usually the welfare people with their brand new cars block the doors and have like three carts filled with junk food. . Also if youre looking for any in-store help use your phone or Google as no one here speaks English or understand anything you say.. Ive been to Walmarts all over the east coast and this is by far the most interesting store ever if youre ever bored take 15-20 minutes and just sit out front in your car and analyze things and you will see what this country is becoming every person is 3 to 500 lb and on food stamps I dont really understand why they need so much free food when they are that big but this is the way of the world now I have to accept it... Also if you are an elder person or a single female keep a very good eye out as there are a lot of creeps perverts and thiefs never let your guard down in this store anything can happen at any time! Good luck and leave your interesting review when you are done with the comical place

I would generally grade Walmart like a 3 or maybe 4 store... but this is my least favorite Walmart. A returns desk that closes early (last I checked, 9pm), lack of store staff during busy hours, huge dependence in self checkout and long lines for regular checkout at many hours of the day, problems with pickups for web orders (like taking 10 min for anyone to man the desk and another 10 to locate the order), less selection and worse hours than other Walmarts. Also, the clientele that shops here must take lessons on leaving carts in lanes and generally being poorly mannered and poorly dressed. That may sound like some bias based off one trip, but its just so consistent. I must have at least 3 or 4 trips here that were made WAY worse by *ridiculous* customers. Im talking about people who cut the line, voice their personal family issues at the top of their lungs, and who just stop in front of you and then abandon their cart so you cant get by... and when you try to go around, someone else does the same thing blocking a giant lane--, in rhetrospect, it was pretty comical... and again, MULTIPLE OCCASIONS. Walmart cant really control who shops at their stores, but short of the lunatics singing to themselves and beggers, you might as well be walking around downtown. Oh, and during anything close to rush-hour the traffic is insane. In its favor: its open slightly later other dept stores?.. walmart pricing? Ok. I feel better now.

I purchased a 6 HDMI cable a few weeks ago, but realized I have one of the exact same length at home. I stopped in yesterday to return the product (unopened) for $32. All seemed to go well. Upon checking my bank account today I see the $32 was CHARGED and not credited! Walmart now owes me $64 total! This was done at the customer service desk, you should know what youre doing if youre processing returns! I will be stopping in today to hopefully remedy this, but regardless my rating stays the same. This makes me wonder how often this happens and people dont notice. CHECK YOUR BANK ACCOUNT AFTER RETURNS! This is my second poor rating on here for this Walmart and I have to be seriously peeved to take the time to do this (first issue was with the tire center). Terrible place to shop all around. Crappy attitudes from employees, takes forever in any department to get any kind of help (Ill patiently sit waiting while 3-4 employees gather to help ONE customer!) Ive been coming to this Walmart since I was a child (before the "supercenter" addition) and it is truly not worth a visit anymore. Please spend your money elsewhere.

How many years ago was it that the store was remodeled and the market added? Well, it was a waste of money as customer service has become even worse. I have been to Walmarts all over the country and Canada. Hands down, East Syracuse is the worse! Customer service? There isnt any! Recently, I was forced to stop there. Bought some things marked down. Twenty minute wait to cash-out. Items rang up wrong, twenty minute wait to return items that were rung up wrong. Girl at customer service didnt even try to refund my money or make it right. One good thing about the situation...now that I dont want to shop there, I am noticing better prices and certainly better quality elsewhere. This is the third year in a row in which I did none of my holiday shopping, even for groceries at Walmart and now that Costco is in my area, I am done with Walmart!

I had the unpleasent experience of having to interact with a women named Dawn, who represented herself as the front end manager. She was extremely rude, unprofessional, loud and insulting. She was talking over me to the point where it was impossible for me to converse with her. I requested several time for her to please allow me to speak , she did not allow that to happen and hung up on me. I did not even attempt to call her back as I felt the situation would not have been resolved with her and nothing is worth me being treated that way. She lacks customer communication skills and definitely should not be in a position to deal with customers. I will no longer shop at Walmart in East Syracuse . I fully intend to call Walmarts corporate office and lodge a formal complaint. They need to be aware of how their customers are treated.

I just moved to the area. Gee, I thought things were better in Syracuse than L.A., but I can be wrong. I wanted a mountain bike, and I saw one I liked, but there was no staffer in the area. I saw a female stocking some items in the next department, and I sked here if she could assist me, or get me assistance in sporting goods. I was directed to ask for help in sorting goods. I did just that, and was told by a gentleman, "Ill be over in a few." I waited, and waited, but no one showed up. I saw another female assisting other customers in bikes, and I demanded to be assisted. I wasnt waiting any longer. She got me the assistance I needed on the spot, but why the hassle? I didnt check the entire store, I went there specifically for a bike. Per my first visit, I think that Ill shop a different Wal-Mart location.

If I could give less than a one star rating I would. This is by far the WORST Walmart Ive ever been to. Trashy and ghetto. Customer service is absolutely horrendous. The associates that work here are completely useless. I went looking for 2 folding camp chairs which I had originally gone to the Clay store for, but they were sold out and looked up which stores had them. It said in their system that East Syracuse had 6. I get there and there wasnt a single one. I walked around for about 10 min trying to find someone to help me and see if maybe they were in a different location in the store. Finally found someone and couldnt understand a single word she said so I walked away. Next person I asked for help said he was going to lunch so he couldnt help
