Unbelievable customer service from the store manager Dee Dee. She went way above and beyond any of my expectations and took back the unused mixed paint that we purchased....all 7 gallons of it! I purchased 10 gallons of Behr Marque "Bay Scallop" after trying many different samples on our walls. Unfortunately the paint did not look like the sample and left a pinkish hue on our walls. Needless to say I thought I threw away almost $400 in paint. On a whim I took the remaining 7 gallons back to the store along with the sample container we originally used. Dee Dee was the store manager on duty and she was called to the customer service desk. After explaining the situation Dee Dee compared the color in the sample container to the paint we purchased. Even though they both looked the same Dee Dee offered refund me for the unused paint. Dee Dee went way above and beyond when she did not have too. She was thoughtful, kind, and considerate. I cannot say enough about how much I appreciate her and her customer support. She is a bright light in an otherwise dim world of customer support and satisfaction. People like her win my loyalty and business. Thank you Dee Dee! I hope this message reaches you and your district manager.

Dont ever apply for a job with Home Depot - especially at this store. Would give no stars if possible. Extremely disgraceful service. Ive never been in any store that has such miserable looking staff which in itself is a reflection on the management - as well as the service provided to customers. In other words, Home Depot could care less! Was invited for an interview the other day and went to the Customer Service Desk as requested in the email I received. Was seen by ill-tempered, obese young woman who after calling several extensions, told me "Shes busy and will see you when shes free" and then she walked off. After catching up with her I asked when will that be and she said she didnt know. I then walked out. Im very grateful because if thats the way they treat potential staff, I could imagine how their employees are treated once theyre hired and whats the criteria for hiring them? My standards as an employee (and customer) are higher. Buyer beware.

I Recently bought furniture paints and floor paints in soysset home deport. To be frank with you I dont know how to paint but I thought of Give it a try. Basically all employees are friendly and helping my needs in this home deport. I saw an associate named "Winnie" in the paint department. he was outstanding. He helped me select the right paint I wanted also, suggested which paint brush I should use and helped me providing a lot of tips and ideas for me. . Last night I started painting my floors and furnitures with a slight fear. But I got so surprised with the finish look of my furniture and floors!! Thats a big WOW!! I Understood home deport has a lot of trained friendly professional like him. Thanks to Winnie!! Thanks to home deport!!

Even though theres no such thing as a "small" Home Depot, this Syosset location is definitely one of the larger ones. All your home improvement staples are here, and unlike their NYC locations, youll find a lot more "outside stuff," like siding, decking materials, patio furniture, and outdoor lighting. I find the "floating" employees sometimes hit or miss at their suburban stores, but the folks over in flooring/carpeting here are top notch and extremely knowledgeable.

This is by far my favorite Home Depot because of the excellent customer service where reps are not just friendly but go above and beyond to help, offer advice and arent rushing away from me. The selection here is reasonable but not as large as most other stores. They do make up for it by recommending local places with stock of what I need and gave me driving directions.

GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE! I can say that again and again and again. Their staff is so well informed and extremely helpful. I literally lived half the time at Home Depot after I moved to my new location nearby and I love it. Theres nothing more to it. Im a fan. Thats the power of the Home Depot.

Not bad for small purchases. Stay away from their doors/windows and sheds. They are severely overpriced and the quality is garbage. Like all other home depots, they treat all their customers like shoplifters. They take your picture when you return an item. Shame on Home Depot.

Great having a home depot so close to home. They do not do propane tanks here and most anyone with a slight diy knowledge will know more then any employee in there but everyone is nice and tries to help anyway

One of the cleanest depots Ive been to. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Tool rental team really takes the time to teach you how to move forward with your DIY project
