They allow dogs in their establishment. This should be prohibited unless you are blind. Everyone doesnt endear to big dogs standing on line beside you. Its discourteous to others who may be allergic or fearful. I was standing in line next to a woman who had a big dog beside her bearing canines and trying to pull away. If someone gets bitten by a dog they can be sued because they are liable for welcoming Dogs. Dogs are not people and prone to attack. Dogs shouldnt be forced on people in a public facility when youre trying to make a purchase. Im going to report this to the BBB.

As a home renovations contractor Ive dealt with all kinds of sales people that sell building materials. Ive had my wife help me when I need some materials picked up. EVERY single time shes gone to the Huntington Home Depot shes been graciously and expediently helped with any materials she needed put into my van. Shes been more than surprised at how helpful they always are. This is how all companies should be in this day and age. BTW...When going to Lowes in Farmingdale shes told me theyre not nearly as helpful or expedient when they do finally help.

it used to NOT be very home owner friendly and more of a contractors store. they have made more of an effort to be helpful. they do not always have the answers (or the right ones) but do appear to be trying more now than they have in the past. they had bettet try because if a lowes gets built anywhere nearby they will lose a ton of their business!

Terrible people, rude and a pasty skinny 50 yr old black dude believes hes intimidating qith starwdowns even after you walk past. Like he got nothing to do prob cause he doesnt know how to work. Dont bother females on ladders, they anap quicker than a sjw that had their safespace invaded. Helpers never return either.

Dont ever purchase garage doors from this company. They take two months to schedule the installation and then informed me that I was responsible to take down my own doors due to lead. They could have easily told me that earlier instead of holding onto $3800 for over two months. Really difficult people to work with.

Had 2 wonderful people help me locate electrical fixtures that couldnt be found at the Huntington store,at the Commack location.Elliott was the mans name and I didnt get the young ladies name in customer service.Both were extremely helpful.

Great store....found just what I needed. Just realized they are pet friendly-----so bring your dog for a walk through the store and probably meet other canine shoppers. Stay away from the door aisle---it confuses them! Ha!

Cancelled my card for not charging in two years -no help in reinstating -wanted me to re apply Iwas always an ontime payer and have spent 1000s in their store! by the way there is no expiration date on the card!

Home Depot/Huntington, NY is the best one we have ever been to. Recently we have visited at least 5 in our area. The staff went out of their way to help us, Nikira is excellent.

Carpeting was sold as "life-proof. 4 months later it is matted down. They do not stand behind this product. Very disappointed as this was very expensive carpet.
