First thing is first, when buying a car the most important thing from any dealership is honesty; this place fits the bill. I have been in the market for a new car for a couple months now. After dealing with countless dealerships I figured what would it hurt to try one more. Its usually all the same worn out sales tactics, well not here. First thing you notice when you walk in the door is the lack of attention you get, but in a good way. There is no over dressed sales people swarming, trying to get you to sit down and "talk" with them. It is a very relaxed and stress free environment. I myself had the pleasure of dealing with Ric Jesmain. Ric was one of the most down to earth sales professionals I have come across. I say professional because he was just that. There was no small talk or awkward getting to know you jokes, it was all just business. Ric wanted to work for me whether I wanted to buy a car or not. If you have the pleasure of dealing with Ric he will often make a remark of doing whats in he best intrest for your self. He in no way shape or form pressured me to buy a car from him. He was very willing to listen to what I had to say, once again showing the level of professionalism. There was not an answer that Ric could not answer for me. No made up numbers, no false hopes, just the truth. I also had the pleasure of dealing with Eric, a sales manager. He was not your typical "watch what I can do" sales manager. Once again he was very honest, very upfront and there were no surprises. I told him what and where I wanted to be and he made it happen, no is ands or buts. Bottom line if you want a first class sales experience with our any of the high pressure sales antics, this is your number one choice. Lets be honest, they dont need to sell there product, Hondas speak for them selves, they are just there to make the process as smooth as it can be. I am looking forward to the the possibility of buying a vehicle from Ric and Eric.

When it was time to get a new car, my mom insisted we see LINDSAY KARLIN at Saratoga Honda. The newly renovated building was clean and open, and everyone that I encountered was friendly and hospitable. Being a college student, we told Lindsay that we needed to stay firmly within a $200/month budget. He quickly figured out our total purchase price and seemed very confident that he could find us something. Not two seconds later, another couple he was working with came to trade in their Honda Fit Sport for the new Honda C-RV, and he said it was meant to be - our budget was about $11,500, and this car was only going to cost us $9,000! Lindsay is a people person - its very clear that everyone that he works with, he gets to know well. He knew that the couple kept their Fit in immaculate condition (he wasnt lying) - no scratches, no accidents, clean CarFax, and kept tidy. We quickly said yes, and while the couple hadnt yet made a decision to trade in, Lindsay told us that he would mark the car for us once they did. He kept in touch throughout the entire process - call and text, whatever is most convenient for you - and made it very easy. He even went out of his way to bring the price down further, and make it affordable for us to get a 3-year warranty! My point - theres a reason Lindsay gets repeat customers like my mother. Hes not your typical "shady used car" guy - he listens and wont dare sell you something you dont need or cant afford. The whole experience was very relaxed, but professional. Cant say enough good things about Lindsay or Saratoga Honda, and Im glad my mom insisted on going there for my second car!

Sales experience was good. The service shop is un-trustworthy. Willingness to correct mistakes is low. Pre-owned car I purchased otherwise reliable. I bought a pre-owned car from here 3 years ago. The sales people were very low pressure and professional throughout the process. My one complaint about the sales process was I did feel a lot of pressure to buy the “extras”, warranty, rust proof, etc. Despite my initial and continued answers of no, I was continually pressured through the rest of the process after committing to buy the car. The car has been reliable. My biggest complaint and reason for the poor review, the car needed new brakes when I test drove it (before purchase). Saratoga Honda promised to replace rotors and pads before I took it home. Initially it appeared they did… except they didn’t. They replaced 3 of 4 brake rotors. I can tell because there is a screw you must remove to be able to remove the rotor. It had been stripped out. Somebody had attempted to remove by drilling it but broke the drill but off in the screw and just given up on the job. This is the condition I found the car in when I replaced the brakes for the first time since purchasing the car. Maybe the car was like this when Saratoga Honda received it but they must have discovered it when they were supposed to replace the rotors… So they lied about work they did to the car and left me with brake components in poor shape. The car had always pulled slightly to one side when braking hard, now I know why. I contacted Saratoga Honda about the issue I found and received no response.

When I walked into Saratoga Honda two weeks ago, I was just looking and browsing their used inventory on CRVs. I had a Honda Pilot that I was upside down on and looking to unload because of fuel mileage. I didnt have a single salesman rush out and try and help, which is a change and very nice because you dont feel the pressure. I walked into the showroom and was greeted by a salesman who sat with me for a moment. I came to find out that due to some research I had done online prior to going that I already had a salesman. I was immediately introduced to Casey Zywot, who was all smiles and very helpful. He remembered me from a phone conversation we had two weeks ago and immediately informed me that he thought he could help me get out of my Pilot. We discussed all my options and when I left I had Leased a 2013 Accord, for less than what I was currently paying. He spend time explaining the process and let me know that if I was ever to get close to the mileage (15,000) that I should call him and discuss what to do prior to going over mileage. Everything was explained thoroughly and in details that I could understand. Picked up my new vehicle and Casey spent 20 minutes going over all the features and helped me to get my bluetooth set up and running. Extremely happy with my purchase and would recommend Saratoga Honda and Casey to anybody that asked. Thank you Casey for making the car buying experience easy and pain free!

Viewed a vehicle through their web page and made an appointment for next day to see it. When I arrived I met with Ric Jesmain in Sales, who had the vehicle ready to go for a drive. Upon returning I sat down with Ric to start negotiating the price. Surprisingly the best part of my experience was the negotiation. Ric had a number he had to meet and I presented a number I was looking for, within minutes we came to a compromise that work for both of us. Keep in mind that I have never been to this location before nor did I know anyone there. I have to say that if the entire sales department is like Ric then they are doing their job right. Ric was very professional and courteous letting you see the human side of a person and not just a sales man, by that you felt comfortable and knew that you were not going to be taken advantage of. I even came in and was going to finance through my own bank and they actually found one with a lower rate. No brainer. While we were doing all the paper work I got to know Ric a little better as we spoke on a personal level. Needless to say I drove out with the car I came in to see (same day), and would recommend Saratoga Honda to anyone. If are looking for a vehicle and an excellent staff that are courteous, kind, respectful and straightforward with you, then go there first. You won’t go anywhere else after.
