I was at this (Best Buy) Saratoga Springs, NY on Jan. 23, 2011. Overall experience was okay. Was given the option to update my address and spent about 4 min. doing so with the cashier. Next visit Jan. 27, 2011 the WORST experience ever with Best Buy. Was looking for an item and a sales person ask us promptly if we needed help but had no knowledge about anything in the area. I had a RZ CERT so i went to the customer kiosk. Surprise, Surprise it would not print. So pulled the RZ CERT on my phone and was going to have the cashier type in the string of numbers. Came to the cashier and found out my address was not update from the last visit and the cashier said she couldnt type in the numbers because she was the only cashier. (BTW there was one other person behind us, a BEST BUY employee with a soda) She then refused and sent us over to Customer Service. After waiting about 8 min. in line the Customer Service lady said she could not do this. You can only imagine how much i loved the fact that you dont give a flip about my time. The lady said because of privacy issues she could not pull our information up. We ask her to, please, type in the numbers and knew it would work. After all of that i went back to the cashier to inform her you can type in the numbers from a RZ CERT. Not to be mean but to help with knowledge, Oh no, she would not have it. "I am the only cashier so i cant do that, she can print out the RZ CERT" So basically its not that she couldnt she WOULDNT. This store has no training in Customer Service and i am absolutely appalled by the fact you dont care about my time and money so why should i give you my money. I expect an apology for this outrageous behaviour. Regards, Dissatisfied customer Was working on 01/27/2011 at 1320. (ALL THREE) -The person(female) working as the ONLY Cashier had some serious attitude issues. It was that she couldnt help us it was that she wouldnt. -The person(female) working as the ONLY Customer Service was unsure of things she could take care of but did tried. The person(female)(has 10yr old grand child)over by external Hard Drives tried to help but was unsure so asked but the answer she gave; you didnt carry it so we spent 10 minutes for something she recommend but didnt have. OVERALL you have some serious Communications and Customer Service Issues!!!!

I have been to Best Buy in Saratoga Springs, NY multiple times in the past few weeks. There are some frustrations but they are with the web site (offer items that must be picked up but there is not store within 100 miles that has the item and the wont ship it store to store) and, as one other reviewer pointed out, you cant update your infor in the store. It is an issue with their program so I dont blame the local store. Recently Ive purchased a refrigerator, 3 computers, a flat screen TV, a site review and a custom install. All in all the Geek squad has been helpful, wait times for customer service have been short, and CSRs in their departments have been knowledgeable. When I purchased the refrigerator I knew that Id seen a lower price at another store. The CSR looked on the web and found out where Id seen it so she could price match it.There have been a few issues where not everyone was giving accurate info but the store had made up for any mistakes. They do a great job of standing behind their service plans for various products.

had a protection plan on an Xbox one and my controller stopped recognizing my headset. I tried using the headset on a different controller and it worked fine. When I went to get a replacement I was told I would have to bring in my Xbox and send out both the Xbox and controller to see if it could be fixed. So keep in mind Ive done the troubleshooting to know its the controller so instead of going through the headache of sending out my system for a few weeks, I decided to just get another controller. As I go through the checkout im offered a protection plan for the new controller, with this protection plan I will get a replacement in store the day it becomes defective. So as a customer I am being innconvienced because the protection I currently had was for an Xbox and not a controller by itself. Its no wonder there is so much profit in those plans for Best Buy.

In the past my experience with Cell phone issues was handled in the store & resolved quickly - I just purchased (2) two more cell phone and one is defective I went into the store and told them that my "phone is running hot" they looked up my account number, wrote it down & told me to go home & to "get on line" I am not finding their website to be easy to understand - so I called - OBVIOUSLY their CSR are in the Phillipines - and I am so not kidding does NOT ask me for my name, or phone number & sure enough we were disconnected - and after waiting 17 minutes to get through to someone! BEFORE we were disconnected she told me that since I just got the phone I needed to go to Samsung with my phone issues OR CANCEL my warranty with Samsung so that I could use my GECK SQUAD SERVICE CONTRACT. DO NOT GET YOUR CELL PHONE SERVICE CONTRACT from them - DO NOT

Was my first time in Beat Buy Saratoga, awesome, the salesman was really really patient, asked how I used the product, what exactly was I looking for, went in to buy a new laptop, since my old one didnt appreciate the cup of coffee I gave it, at least it had cream and sugar in it, ( cant please everyone) so of course it died, but came out with table top model , now loving that much better, since they have everything built into the monitors now, and no worry about spilling anything into it since its up higher. also12 months interest free, was going to put it on my credit card when the gentlemen said no interest for12 months cant beat that , so experience was great,

My family and I have shopped at BestBuy for years. We recently had a problem with upgrading our phones through AT&T. We want to do the early pay up "it was only a couple of weeks before out free upgrade" and AT&T had our billing messed up. After talking to reps at two AT&T corporate stores and calling customer support and talking to reps from different departments we was only getting frustrated. We was at the point of considering switching to another carrier. Seriously I am trying to give you money just take it already. Anyways, an AT&T rep at BestBuy went above and beyond and helped us. I have never had a problem shopping there.

HORRIBLE STAFF , this place is an absolute nightmare if you have to deal with any staff or customer service reps. They denied a return in store and instead told me to ship it back even though online it says BRING YOUR DAMAGED ITEM TO ANY U.S. STORE AND WE WILL ARRANGE A REPLACEMENT FOR YOU. These people especially the manager Jenkins are complete dead beats who care nothing about the customer. TAKE YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE , Amazon has great customer service and are always glad to help, and they wonder why Amazon is taking all their business . its called CUSTOMER SERVICE something this place does not have. You have been warned.
