I write with a heartfelt and utterly glowing review of the good people in this store and, in particular, Dino. I have previously purchased various appliances over the years, always without issue. On Thursday, June 1, 2017 I was under a phenomenal degree of personal duress which was met with the most spectacular degree of human kindness I have ever seen. My mother passed away suddenly and I was visiting from Arizona with a picture display that the funeral home dated technology could not accommodate. Without even being asked, Dino knew what to do. Not only did he identify a very reasonably priced television for purchase but he single-handedly knew what else to do, namely transfer all 180 photos onto a thumb drive, ensure the television would accept the thumb drive and show my wife and I how to operate it. It did not stop there, store employees opened and assembled the TV such that all we had to do was plug it in on our arrival at the funeral home. These people are genuine caring decent folks and Dino is at the very top of that list. After the funeral and before departing for Phoenix I returned to the store to attempt to again thank him personally. Unfortunately he was not there and so I provide this stellar review with the utmost sincerity and gratitude.

Edit: A manager called me and offered to exchange my mattress after seeing my review. Got the mattress the next week this time in "ultra-firm", and it turned out to be actually firm. DO NOT buy their mattresses. They may be good at selling electronics, but the quality of their mattresses is questionable, even if they are not the producers. They also dont offer returns. Bought a "firm" mattress that turned out to be VERY soft. Delivery was delayed for 2 weeks because of internal miscommunication. The store manager also failed to follow up on his promises of calling me back. I was offered a discount of 30% on a mattress protector bundled in with the mattress. The manager adjusted the price of the mattress to give me that discount, but it turned out to be only 22% when I did the math after examining the receipt. The people who answer phone calls were also very rude. One rep yelled at me because I mispronounced her name. She did not say it clearly to me. Another rep put me on hold for 15 minutes, and when someone else finally picked up, they mumbled something and hung up after I asked them to clarify what they were saying. I will not buy ANYTHING from them again. Many of their employees are sly and untrustworthy.

Terrible, terrible, terrible!!! Do not buy ANYTHING from this store. I didnt learn the first time. I bought a flat screen tv and dvd player during the Thanksgiving sale. I was told by the associate that I was getting the 3D LED model but when I brought it home it was NOT 3d. I was able to take it back and exchange for the model I thought I was getting but then when I got home the Blue Ray player wasnt working. I returned the Blue Ray player only to get another one that didnt work. When I returned that one, they gave me an open box with no remote. I had to go to the PC Richards in Greenvale in order for them to get it right. Take Two: I figured that the prior mishap was an isolated incident caused by the chaos of the holiday rush. SO I made the mistake of again going there to buy a dishwasher. After spending hours to remove the old dishwasher and install the new one, there were TWO large cracks in the bottom of the dishwasher. This place just cant get it right. It is better to save time and go to a place that conducts themselves as a BUSINESS than a place that sells appliances for a little cheaper. Its just terrible.

This review is regarding my internet purchase from P.C. Richard & Son Thank you and your company for the excellent customer service. When I did the online chat inquiry regarding a price match to a local retailer (H H Gregg in Akron, OH) I was extremely pleased how quick and painless it was to receive my price match. It was a matter of minutes and your chat rep. advised that I would be receiving a price match credit right away! I thought I would have to fill out paperwork and/or submit a claim form and send a copy of my local retailers print ad to receive the discount. But, no - your chat rep. stated everything had been taken care of and I would receive my credit to my credit card right away. I appreciate excellent customer service, and thats exactly what I received at P.C. Richard & Son. I look forward in shopping P.C. Richard & Son again! I plan to post my comments on Google PLUS page for your company to let everyone know P.C. Richard & Son provides excellent customer service! Due to the hot humid weather, the family refrigerator broke down. Went to the 2nd floor appliances show room, and encountered Thuang at PC Richards. Thuang was knowledgeable of all the wares displayed, and gave very good input as to the differences of the brands, features and size dimensions. Thuang seamlessly set up the order and was able to show actual stock/quantity of items on the store computer. He is also multi-lingual, so he was able to explain what was going on to my Mandarin speaking parent. The store manager Eric was cordial and prompt in authorizing a sales transaction in light of their recent employee pricing promotion. I left with a peace of mind, after purchasing an extended warranty policy, covering my appliance after the manufacturers coverage ends. Was very highly impressed with the PC Richards email confirmation, which gives you delivery status on top of a physical receipt. Theres a reason why PC Richards is still around, while many other competitors have faltered or exited.

Unfortunately in 2012 my family lost everything due to Hurricane Sandy. Due to over four feet of salt water flooding, nothing was salvageable. After all these years, and all the red tape, our home has been torn down, elevated and rebuilt new. The process of furnishing has been incredibly overwhelming however, the staff and manager, Mike Mulligan, at the Bayside location have been amazing! They made a stressful situation, of starting brand new with everything, from appliances to bedding, to an exciting experience, as it should have been! Mike spent a lot of time explaining so many options and features on so many products but in a way I never felt overwhelmed and really did his best to make sure I was getting the best deals out there. Thank you Mike - Thank you PC Richards - you have helped moving back in to our new home such a positive experience after such a long frustrating journey. There isnt another place my family or I would ever turn to other than PC Richards.

I recently purchased a TV from this PC Richards. After shopping around at other competitors, I decided on PC Richards because of their excellent customer service. I had many questions on the different TVs available and why, even from the same company, the prices varied so greatly. Cecillo Cruz was the rep who helped me and he did an amazing job clearing my confusing. I learned a lot about the difference and felt I was able to make an educated choice on purchasing a TV that was within my budget. He did no pressure me into features I didnt need or push me to TVs out of my range. He focused on my requirements and presented me a few options from different manufacturers and explained the pros and cons of each. This is how you build confidence in your customers. There is nothing worse than a pushy uneducated sales rep. Cecillio has won my confidence and I will be sure to pay him a visit again at the end of this year when I attend to purchase new kitchen appliances.
