I purchased a Samsung 55" LED smart tv with the 2 years pc richards and son protection service and paid 200 dollars extra.. a year later im calling to get help for my damage and sales person mike over the who sold me the tv picks up the phone saying "whats up" instead of how can i help you i say "hi how are you?" He says "whats up" again.. very unprofessional.. and also they saying that the warranty i pay for does not cover no physical damage or any water damage or any screen issues and doesnt cover lost or stolen so then i asked what soes it cover he said "technical damage only" my point is when i was buying this TV a year ago same sales person was about to kiss my hands and pretend the best sales person with all the costumer service now i get a guy on the phone saying whats up not listing to my problem and hang up the phone on me.. he accused me of breaking my own tv saying "how does he know the tv fell of the wall but i didnt trow something at it.." it fell of the wall cause of the cheap material he sold me to mount it on the wall in the first place.. to make it shorter my experience was very bad with them I think they have very poor customer service and no professionality in sales before I forget I also asked to speak to a supervisor or a manager he wouldnt put me on to anybody else to speak to and also hang up the phone on me I am very disappointed they got the worst review from me of all times.. I would suggest that if you were to purchase anything with a warranty please make sure that you know it does not cover nothing and they robbing people $200 with each purchase offering service that dont exist... ty for reading..

I needed to purchase a TV as a gift for the holidays. I ended up at the PC Richards in Rockville Center after leaving Best Buy when the employees there were more concerned with their weekend plans the the shoppers around them. Upon entering PC I was greeted very politely by three different eager salesmen before I ended up being helped by Brian, who had just finished up with another customers. He was more than helpful and accommodating. I had an issue with the size of the television needed as it had to fit into an older wall unit and since a 40" wouldnt fit and a 32" would have been too small he recommended a 37" set which is something I didnt know they made. He went into the back to check their inventory and while he was gone, I was again impressed by the extreme friendliness of the staff there making sure I was being taken care of and if I had any additional questions. They ended up not having what I needed in the store but after a few minutes of searching inventory elsewhere he was able to get me the TV I wanted/needed for a great price (I even checked what other retailers were selling that model for on my phone before he rang me up) and was able to have it delivered to the store by Xmas eve instead of making me drive to another location. Because of his courtesy and efforts to go the extra mile for a customer Brian, along with the Rockville Center PC Richards now has a new customer.

A brand new refrigerator I bought stopped working after a little over 1 year. They refused to sell me warranty just because I purchased the item 1 year 2 months ago. They said I should have contacted them within one year, after a year they cant sell warranties. How was I supposed to know the products they sell were that bad? I asked them if they can do an exception since I bought my entire kitchen appliances in the same Rockville Centre store (refrigerator, oven, microwave, dishwasher), they said NO. They said I should have chosen to buy extended warranty when I purchased the fridge. I told them I had no idea that brand new fridge would go bad after 1 year. In any case, they said they can not help. Calling general customer service of PC Richard didnt help too. They did not care that I bought my entire kitchen appliances from them, couldnt do one time courtesy to allow me to buy warranty from them to fix the refrigerator that completely stopped working after 1 year and 2 months. The result was, I lost $100 worth of meat & other food because of the fridge. Thank god I called the product manufacturer and they sold me 3 year warranty and fixed my refrigerator in the same week I called them. Be extremely careful when shopping from them, do not buy discounted items, my fridge was brand new but it was in clearance. I learned there was a reason it was in clearance.

My store in Rockville Centre and my guy there, Marty, are just the best!! I went in on Friday to get a new monitor and since Marty was there I went ahead and replaced the AC we purchased from him in 1999 ...still working but dripping so we got a new Frigidaire, delivered and installed the same day, a beauty and doing a great job. Marty has always sold us exactly what we need, his advice is always the best, and we rely on this advice because we know from nothing when it comes to appliances. Our PC Richard file containing all the warranties, etc. is almost 2" thick!! Thats how many appliances we have purchased at the RVC store from Marty. Just yesterday we used the Weber electric grill we bought last year, had not used it since last year, another really beautiful appliance. Thank you Marty for these many years of help with our purchases, as well as your special friendship!! (My husband of 45 years likes to tease me that I fall in love with all of these salesmen, contractors, etc. that we work with. How can one not when they perform so well for us???) Never again. Purchased an air conditioner and in wall installation. Installed one month later. Installers smashed holes in my plaster walls. I was told by manager Steve they would send someone to repair wall. I spoke with salesman marc who told me to call service. Get the run around on the wall, which I will repair. One month later and the Unit Breaks. I go to the store and Im told "Sorry, nothing we can do, call service, but good luck getting someone they are busy this time of year". I call service and Im told repair service can be directly scheduled at the store of purchase. HORRIBLE customer service.

On a whim we passed by the Rockville PC richards to look at Air-conditioners. We had the pleasure of being helped by Abid. We are glad we did. He was very helpful in selecting the proper size and model A/C. He was not pushy and let us take are time to decide what we wanted to do as we were not sure if we were ready to buy at this time. He was so helpful and got us the best price we decided to buy it right then and there. We will definitely take the trip to this PC richards all the way from Manhattan as his is a first class salesperson. So when you go to this location ask for Abid. You wont regret it.
