First, let me say, this is a "big box store" and if you havent figured THAT out already.....Overall, this location is convenient. Parking is pretty good too, even on weekends and not too bad during holidays. The store in general is clean. Im there a lot mostly on the weekends (at peak times) and while very busy, you still have room to browse and shop. Plus, there always seems to be PLENTY of stock. Once in awhile (as I have mentioned, I frequent there a lot weekdays, too). At times, because popular, you MAY run out of bagels. HOWEVER, this has only happened three times in the innumerable times Ive gone. In addition, Ive just gotten the attention of the baker in the back who was already on it, baking or finishing up with the newly baked batches of bagels to put out and so on. You just ask. Most of the employees are pleasant. Sure, I too, have encountered one maybe two (and honestly I have to REALLY think hard about that) employees who didnt seem pleasant. If anything, most have been accommodating and nice. Now, the one thing that I will agree with other reviewers are the long lines and wait. This can be and is very frustrating. And of course irritating. We ALL want to pay, get out of there and GO. Especially after a very large purchase of endless walking about in there (which is fine, but for some of us with severe chronic health issues) - I have whole body Arthritis; this becomes almost unbearable. On the other hand, we kind of have to expect this type of situation in stores such as this and especially peak times. Look at Ikea. Love the store but get to one of their NUMEROUS checkout lines and its "wait city." Even some of your favorite grocery stores have become like this. Maybe not as extreme, but sure as heck a lot busier than say ten or so years ago. (Im 57 and remember much faster checkouts). Perhaps Administration needs to somehow brainstorm and come up with a faster checkout flow. This might make everyone happier.

This location generally has everything in stock. This location serves most of queens, being one of the few BJs easily accessible by highway and with plenty of parking. Unless youre early in the morning or late in the evening on the weekend, youre going to watch your milk spoil in the cart waiting to pay. Weekday is generally the same thing, less customers, also less cashiers. If you cant get out to green acres (after saturday their dairy section is usually out of stock - restock is Tuesday am I believe) or even better, garden city (always in stock, fairly reasonable wait) then college point it is. This is a location that is not even popular for anything other than its location. Just be prepared.

I belonged to Costco club before. Its the same idea, just that the brand (I think) is better at bjs. Thats why I changed and been happy ever since. It may seem that the prices are higher here compared to stop and shop, walgreens, kmart, and even Walmart I think. But you factor in the quantity of items in one package, usually 2-5 pieces per package, and the size of each item on the package, double the size of other stores, that price drops way low. All household items and some of the food items I purchase here.

Only one i like to go to since 2008 But someone staff can be rude like in all places including some managers once my wife had an issue with her Bank of america card because it was The first time being used there and that Bank blocked it For security and The Manager treated us as if we had a stolen card even after using a different card he still made us feel bad. I just Ignore The staff since then!

BJs should look into getting different brands and things inside the store and having a great selection even though they have a good one for now like for instance carrying some of the things that other wholesale markets sell. This particular store in flushing no longer has a BJS owned/operated liquor store and is actually now run by a private company who has raised the prices of their liquor.

I have NEVER been able to speak with anyone on the phone at the Whitestone Expressway location. I have been trying get for at least 70 minutes now and the phone kept on right give each time I follow the prompt. This part of their system is lacking proper supervision. The CEO and or COO needs to know about this problem. This lack is making good me go to their competitors. What a damn shame.

BJs is very greedy I used to be a good place to save money now cuz its summer time they raise the price on all the meat the trying to compare with local supermarkets its a Wholesale Club we pay money to shop there there is no wholesale prices anymore theyre trying to be the Home Depot of supermarkets what a shame go back to way it was buying in bulk club what a shame. Might try Costcos

Shop while you get robbed should be this locations slogan. At least they have security guards and cameras right? False, the stores manager claims they just post signs on the wall to scare people. They only have cameras by the entrance of the store. So snag all the deals BJs has to offer while your car gets broken into and all your personal possessions get robbed. Costcos anyone?

An expansive space and a great store to catch some essential items in bulk for lower wholesale prices. Compared to other wholesale franchises and locations, the lines here are not as out of control as the others. The wholesale shopping experience will always be somewhat overwhelming, but it is somewhat more manageable here. The free parking lot out front adds to the convenience.

Ample yet busy parking lot... Inside BJs there is a large selection of goods, wifi, bathrooms. There is a Starbucks nearby. Watch out for those consumers who recklessly leave their shopping cart after using it in the parking lot. Plenty of accidents/scratches on cars because of this. Parking lot attendant/lazy consumers should do a better job of keeping the carts out of harms way.

I was there today spoke to a manager there was two mice running around... It scared the hell out of me and other customers... Talking to other customers they told me that they only buy packaged food because that store has mice. most of the cashiers act like theyre doing you a favor if they talk to you or answer a question with an attitude..

good location and easy to get through, still, it suffers the same insufficiency as costco: lots of some things, and none of others (no wine vinegars, only certain pastas, etc.) also, prices are rarely less expensive than your neighborhood supermarket. at the end of the day, your only advantage is being able to buy in bulk.

The receiving department sucks. No consideration to the drivers. Makes them wait hours after their appointment even after they knew a day or 2 before they were getting a truck. Truck drivers suffer due to computer logs and they have to get home the same day. Refuse deliveries if at all possible. This place is ridiculous

This popular BJs location has plenty of parking during weekdays, but gets crowded easily on weekend afternoons. One plus - you can always park a bit further away by the connected Target lot. This BJs is the perfect place to pick up delicious dessert platters and rotisserie chicken for impromptu family gatherings.
