Almost next door to Costco. Far less crowed INSIDE and in parking lot than Costco. Same gas prices as Costco but if you make any purchase INSIDE before buying gas that day, they take 5 cents off your gas. They have most quality and other items as Costco as similar prices and many things Costco does not have (and vice versa). I like the fact that they have items available in SMALLER or SINGLE sizes as well as those jumbo sizes and packs. They have a meat department. Not PRIME as far as I can tell. They have a deli department. Produce is very good with large selection. I dont like the fact that you have to get a b ox yourself and pack it yourself. (Why I didnt give it 5 stars) The checkout lines are MUCH shorter than Costco. Same other (auto, travel etc) benefits as Costco. If you are stresses out by Costcos long lines and lack of parking (people "fighting for spaces", this is for you. You dont get cash back (as with Costco) unless you have and use their credit card. They accept ALL credit cards, while Costco only takes Visa.

Absolutely LOVE this store - so much more than Costco! Its CLEAN! You can buy bulk w/out having to buy enough for the Russian army! Can always get help if needed - great customer service area. TONS of organics - both fresh and frozen. Better quality in clothing items - Eddie Bauer/Jones of NY - not the junk name "designers". Just an overall pleasant shopping experience. If youre in a hurry they have plenty of self check registers that you can get through really quickly and theres always someone there to help if you get stuck. Try it!!!!

I stopped for one item and decided to get some cold cuts at the deli. A young man was waiting on a woman who had the number 53, there was a man with number 54 and I was number 55. 20 minutes later number 54 was being waited on and four more customers joined the group. There were several employees walking around behind the deli counter but didnt lift a hand to help clear the gathering crowd. I finally said forget it and left. They need lessons on customer service.

I did my eye exam less than 2 years ago and STATE OF CONNECTICUT law states that an eye exam last for 2 years! BJs is trying to tell me its at the Doctor discretion, since when does a doctor that could be hired or fired have more power than the WHOLE STATE OF CONNECTICUT. VERY upset!!!! i will be going down there an expect this issue to be fixed!!! otherwise will be handled in a court of law!

I visit often with my wife and children. Its a decent family trip, and dinner/lunch is reasonable at their café. Sadly, sometimes the café randomly closes early so we go up to Costco just up the street instead. We got their credit card, which gives us cash back with a bonus of an additional 10 cents off a gallon of their gas.

It is impossible to get through to any people in the departments at BJs while they have a good store the Store has the WORST customer Service Ive ever had to deal with over the phone. Watch out BJs Costco is just down the street at the rate you are going you are not winning my loyalty.

It was good to have a floating cashier to help when you do self service checkout. Just a suggestion it would be better if at the self serve check out the customer could cash in their bottle return slip without assistance. Store and bathrooms are very clean.

I love this store but there customer service center is the worst I have ever seen. The guy yesterday morning made me wait because he was to busy texting and was very rude!!!I have had this problem for months with this place. So its time to speak out.

If I could give a zero I would. I have had every departments phone ringing off the hook for more than a half hour. Not sure if they are busy, understaffed, incompetent but probably a combination of the 3.

Love me some bjs! My favorite wholesale club in the area. And this one has a liquor store! Prices fr alcohol are low, but not necessarily the cheapest, but you cant argue with the convenience.
