I was a cashier there from sept 2015 till April 27th 2017 & I quit. Honestly I couldnt stand being there anymore. We was always short of cashiers, supervisers & even managers. If everyone was doing there job everyday not every other day I would have probably stayed but maybe not? Always had a problem with the front line but mostly the senior manager. They dont care about anyone! They only care about themself and there money. I was there for almost 2 years and I never got a promotion. Just a "Oh, yeah... Good job." like ONCE from my manager. People who are the for 2 months got a promotion yet but there employers who was there for a LONG time didnt. They pick favorites which is messed up. But anyways, most of you who reads this probably know me, I was the goth girl with the piercings. Most people know me cause of that and a lot of you guys told me I was the fastest cashier there. I kept lines going because I hate waiting in line for long. Thank you for your compliments. Made my day always ❤ if anything ask for me when you step in, and tell them that they lost a amazing worker, because they know they did and if they hear it more they will probably step there game up there! :)

Im so disappointed I ordered two three foot Heroes for surprise birthday party and when I arrive to pick them up I was first told that they had already been picked up by somebody else which didnt make any sense, then I was told that they lost my order and they were making it right there and then. Mind you this was for a surprise party where they needed to be someplace at a particular time. In addition, the bakery completely messed up our order and lost our ticket as well. I have been calling for the past two weeks and I have not had one answer or one call back I am so disgusted

Two stars for hosting many products but would give 1 star for service. Supervisors in each store make up stories about a product rather than telling the truth which creates problems for customers. I was told in one store that a Shed was going to fit in my car and they had this in stock in another store. I go to the store and the boxes are huge although the previous supervisor painted an animated picture of how big the boxes were. Needless to say, it was a wasted journey of my time and effort and need to rethink. Thinking to buy online from another store.

Theyre conveniently placed next to my gym, but the service there was pretty poor. I was at self-checkout and needed assistance. After waiting a while, I asked the closest cashier when Id be getting help and she apathetically said she cant do anything and that I have to wait until someone notices me. Upon exiting the store, the worker who checked receipts was eating and distracted. This place didnt leave me with a very good impression and I may only go back because of its convenient location.

This location has become my goto. Doesnt matter what time of day I show up, I can get in and get out. Granted, I only go to BJs for certain few things, but because of that, I dont want to wait a long time to check out. I never do here...even in pre-snowstorm madness. The closest location to my home is Valley Stream. But outside of propane refills, I avoid that location like the plague.

I was a former employee at this BJs Located right in garden city L.I. on the overnight shift the supervisors or very racist and they all pretty much back up each others. when u file a complain they ignore it .. Ive experience supervisor Albertha said some nasty an rude racial comments. and when u complain to the supervisors they pay you are the complains you are making any attention..

IF they even answer the phones, estimated wait times are 31mins... Probably longer- I just hung up. Horrible racists at member services. Would like a call back with regards, too long to add here. Suggestion: Put the coupon booklets self serve in front of member services. All the employees there are Miserable!!! It shows- could be due to the fact of the racists that work there!

I usually go shopping for food on Wednesdays and the lines are very minimal. Thank you Jesus. Ive visited several Bjs....Valley stream, Gateway mall and now Garden Citys Bjs. The atmosphere is light and a couple of dollars ($2.00 or so) cheaper than Valley Stream and Gateway mall. This is my place to food shop.

Not enough cashiers had to wait 15 minutes to checkout bottle return dosent take Moscato bottles have to wait on customer service line 10 minutes to get 15 cents for 3 bottles . Why cant cashiers take those bottles. Manager was not helpful. Overall my experience was not good to say the least

Stay away Horrible customer service we tried to return an item but wouldnt take it because we bought 3 items and only return 2. If you open an item and you didnt like it. Its common sense you would return the other 2. But they wanted the 3 items. They must hate their job.

Ive not been to many other locations, but when compared to other wholesale clubs this one has a greater chance at shorter lines. Good selection of products, friendly staff, I would highly recommend. Its still a wholesale club, but its my favorite to frequent.

Love the new BJs. Having joined LA Fitness next door and always being a Costco girl, I decided to try BJs and to my delight am very pleased. So convenient to stop on my way home from work, but its sometimes tough to decide-workout or shop.

This location is terrible. Doesnt matter what time of day or night you go, this place is always understaffed and lines are very long. Thinking of returning bottles/cans? Dont count on it. Do yourself a favor and go to a different BJs.

20 something registers and only 4 self check. Place is usually packed during weekend days. You would think theyd account for that. Never. How about adding Moe express and self check lanes since more than half arent being used.

Better then costco by a mile! I joined costco... After 2 visits I cancelled my membership and rejoined BJs after having been with them over 10 years... When youve got a good thing... Stick to it!

I go to the GYM next door then pick up pampers next door with coupons! Large parking lot and easy access. Never had a problem with this BJs and they have never let me down!

Shopping at this BJs is always an experience! Today, it wasnt as crowded as sometimes but we found everything we wanted and left happy, in general. God bless!

Dont expect to make a quick trip to this location. Even on busy weekends they will only have 3cor 4 registers open and lines are upwards of 15 minutes long

I love a BJ!! I also do my shopping at BJs!! Renewed the membership so, I guess that means i liked it more over the other options (Sams, Costco, etc.)
