placed six bagels in a plastic bag from the bakery, Got to the register, The young lady (cashier) says you have the wrong bag, this will scan the 8 bagel price. I asked, can you call the bakery and ask for the correct code #? (she answered NO.) I then asked for her supervisor, she then stated she wont do that either. The supervisor arrived, and not only called the bakery but walked over to the bakery and retrieved the correct bag. Hats off to the supervisor. 11/18/14 @ 8:28pm. Staff must get some more and consistent customer service training, (one other thing cashier was chewing on some sore of nut/mint taking them out of her pocket while serving her customers. I seeked out the supervisor and thanked her for what she did..

Really crowded. Shelves need restocking, long lines (and "8 items or less" appaently means "break up your stuff into piles of 8 or less and pay for each pile seperately. The selection appears inferior to other locations. I dont know why peopl go here when Costco is a mile away Costco has a much better selection, including more organic items (they recently augmented their selection, something BJs should do). I went here because I had a Groupon for a membership I had to start before the location near me opens in a couple of monthes. What a disappointment,

Horrible service with customers as well as employees. Never buy the chicken already cooked by the deli they dont wash it and somethings cook it on dirty scurres (rotating cooking rods) If u feel that your not being treated well its because the employees are pretty much miserable. They need a one on one class for manger skills it doesnt just mean bossing around. Can't blaim them its not easy finding jobs nowadays so you have to hold on to what you have till a better opportunity presents.

Im a regular Saturday or Sunday shopper. And every week the same thing, long lines not enough registers open. Today, at 4pm 13 out of 22 were open and lines were long. I spent $33 cause i was rushing to get on line, but if lines were shorter or all registers open i potentially could of spent more time and money. BJs operators its simple, short lines potentially more money will be spent. Customers complainting through out the store. Definitely going to consider other options.

I ordered a pair of glasses for my daughter at BJs optical in Pelham.The selections of frames available was limited to plain styles. (not appealing). Also, my daughter has a light prescription. We ordered a pair of glasses, polycarbonate lenses with anti glare. The price was reasonable but it took a long time to get them made. If you are looking for a replacement pair without frills and are willing to wait 2 weeks, then BJs is the place.

They didnt have canned soup in the whole store. thousands of square feet without canned soup of any kind. I had to go to another place after this, what a waste of time and energy. Mom&pop store has canned soups. The employees didnt know they carry Campbells soup, but one looked it up in the inventory to say, "we ordered but we dont have it anymore." Are you kidding me? Who doesnt carry canned soup?

BJs has EVERYTHING! The prices are low and the quality high. There is usually lots of stock available and they have great seasonal merchandise throughout the year. Parking can be difficult, despite the huge parking lot and it has truly apathetic staff. Lines can be long if you go at the wrong time. Still, 4 stars for letting me stock up on essentials at super- low prices.

I shop there every week and every time I go there the bathrooms are completely disgusting and dirty. Im afraid my daughter or myself will catch someting.I made a complaint and the supervisors answered was that they dont have a cleaning person .I think thats at least that we deserve after spending thousand of dollars in that place yearly is a clean odorless bathroom.

Terrible customer service,management have no idea what it means to take care of customers I work for Jcpenney it is imperative to give great customer service,their system was down no one made any announcements for over 2 hours no regard for customers time assistant manager walk around did not apologize to the customers,really bad customer service.

Customer service is horrible at this store and it is consistently this way. There were at least five Representatives including a supervisor behind the desk this afternoon and only two were helping customers. The wait time was approximately 45 minutes to get helped...that is unacceptable!

The cashier did not charge me for certain items after she said she did had to return to the cashier to pay again and then after placing the items in my car l noticed that one of the items were damaged so have to return back to the store to return the item

Very crowded most of the time but the lines are always moving pretty fast only thing I dont like is the dates are always to close to expiring or are expired make sure you check the dates other then that theyre great friendly cashiers and helpful service

I loved the place.It was a great experience.The packages come with more than Costco.But we lasted shopping there for over 3 hours.I rather come here than Costco. I love all the open parking and there is always something to buy. It was insane!

TERRIBLE SERVICE!!!!! Nobody has a clue what they are doing, staff was cursing in the isles right in front of my 3 year old. Almost had a fist fight with one staff member, too long of a story to explain how dumb he was. The place is a zoo

BJs is cheap, thats why were here. We would all like a palace to shop in Im sure, this isnt it. Get your deals and go home, not the best location. If you want to spend more on gas, there are better locations, further away.

My favorite BJs. Free parking and product availability is usually great. Avoid Saturday and Sundays during peak hours from like 12 to 6, the lines will be insane. This location also has the bottle recycling available.

I like there is free parking and close to home.. but the lines are way to busy they need more cashier, when u paying a membership u supposed to get good service.. wait in line for hours is not part of a good service.

BJS in Pelham Manor has great selection, smaller portions , and all their produce and meats are fresh. BJS excepts outside coupons which can be combined with their coupons. All major credit cards are excepted.
