Verizon Fios has now sublet their return and exchange centers to some of its wireless franchises. I needed to exchange a box and was directed to this location as it was closest to my home to get a new box. I was assured that it was all set up and I could just go in and the exchange would go seamlessly. When I arrived at the store there were a number of employees who acted like they didnt see you. I finally got the attention of one to ask where to return the box. He pointed to a line of people at a desk and I took that hand signal as where I was to wait. I was a little dismayed to see that this line for box returns and exchanges was also the line for sales and programming of phones and wireless plans. Although I am not the store owner I thought that this was a little counter productive and if you only accept boxes before 5pm it would have been a better idea to have the guy who was walking around doing just about nothing doing that task. But, who am I to say. I finally got to the desk and explained the problem with the box (the circuits had started to explode the previous evening) and said that a rep from Fios had called ahead for me to get the new one. Shiv, the associate who was "helping" me then started laughing in my face. I found this a tad absurd and asked him what he found so amusing. He said "whats your order number?" I explained that I had just called and they didnt give me one. He then stated that without an order number he would do nothing and suggested I check my emails for one. I did so and although I had no reading glasses with me (I am old and my eyes are feeble) I managed to find it at the bottom of an email that had just been sent in teeny tiny print. I gave it to him and he then proceeded to make me repeat it 3 times. Seriously? I cant figure out his reason for the rudeness, arrogance and condescension but I do know this, I will never go back into one of the stores owned by this franchisee again. I am actually considering gong back to cablevision because of the treatment I received yesterday. And Shiv is very lucky that I kept my cool because in my younger days I would have ripped him a new one and popped him in the head.

I had the most wonderful experience at this Verizon Wireless location. I have had terrible experiences in the Rockville Center and Lynbrook locations, so I was hesitant about the service. However, Niran went above and beyond my expectations. He helped me tremendously when I was at the store. I got rid of my iPhone 5c, which I was so unsatisfied with and upgraded to the Motorola Turbo 2, which takes the most amazing photos and videos. Then, Niran reviewed my monthly cell phone bill and he was able to lower my monthly charges. Next, Niran helped me get a device called Gizmo for my 7 year old daughter in which she can call 2 emergency numbers and recieve calls from the 2 emergency numbers. There was a promotion going on with Gizmo and I received the device for free and only pay $5 a month for the service, it was a no brainer for me. Finally, I was able to get a new mini iPad for $200 after the mail in rebate. Niran was so patient with me and extremely professional. For any and all my future cell phone needs, I will only go to this Oceanside location.

So... there are three places that I typically avoid like the plague because I leave frustrated and itchy! DMV IKEA Verizon Today Verizon comes off that list! Went into the Oceanside NY store where I met Jesse. A sweet, upbeat and helpful guy who was eager to assist me. I wanted a new phone, a new plan and help figuring out what I had and what I needed. I should mention that I entered the store 20 minutes before closing and the transferring of 64gb would take quite a while. I decided to come back the following day and he was kind enough to put the phone I chose aside, gave me his card and offered to help this technologically moronic woman navigate new phone. When I walked in today, Christian stepped in and took care of everything. I left him my phones and he transferred everything while I ran to the supermarket. Its really the smallest kindnesses that make such a big difference in life. Thanks for making something that typically stresses me out... a pleasant walk in the park!

Brian helps me again! Last year I almost left Verizon because of my experience at the Rockville Centre location but then I went into the Oceanside location and it changed everything. Now I would never even consider going to another provider. Everyone there is super helpful but Brian really goes above and beyond. Weather I attempt to download Itunes to my phone and completely wipe it out (Dont ask how) or I drop it on a not so sober night causing some of the functions to malfunction or adding an Ipad to my plan, Brian has taken care of it all. He is patient, understanding of every situation and does everything in his power to make sure your phone is working at 100% I would recommend this location to everyone. Thanks again!!

Best service I have ever experienced. Everytime i come in this group of young men take the time out to really assess my problems and concerns and patiently help me resolve them. Their not like the rest of the wireless retailers in the area that are just concerned with making a quick buck. Great service, great customer service and great all around experience. I reccomend, them to everyone in the area. If you dont have verizon you should switch, they are partnered with the long beach store as well and work very closely together so if theres ever something you need that one store doesnt have in stock then they are very quick to go pick it up from the other store for you. I love these guys

Ive been working with Gil and his team for over 10 years now and the service just keeps getting better and better. Their employees are not only patient and knowledgeable but also are looking out for whats in the best interest for the customer. I went in to get a new phone and through thorough informative sales information got set up with an amazing deal and walked out extremely happy as always. You will be there for some time while things are getting configured but its well worth the wait for an amazing product. And theres always something good on their flat screen TV to keep you entertained. I wont go anywhere else :)

One of the best verizon store in all long Island and the staff working behind the scene is what really adds the touch of a real home and friendly environment when stepping In the door of this location and not to say how great and reasonable was the young man assisting me. This kid Cris was so helpful with everything and explained everything to the last dot . Couldnt had asked for a better person to have helped me out . This store is a 10 out of 10 & Criss performance was outstanding 10 of 10 as well. Love it here. Definitely coming back to this store .
