I had the worst experience and am still suffering because I did not do my homework and believed that a neighborhood business would be honest and fair! What a mistake. I went to Home Appliance to buy kitchen appliances last year and was told by the owner that Electrolux was the best. I should have known better after the owner Jeff talked me into a Magic Chef washing machine which lasted only a year!! This company steers customers to certain brands-not thinking of customer first but thinking of lining their pockets!! This is not the worst part-after they talked me into buying Electrolux applainces-they also talked me into an Extended Warranty-which is the biggest scam that they promote! They told me if I purchase it-I wouldnt have to worry for 10 years and everything would be covered!! As soon as I needed it-it took me a whole day to get someone on the phone and they only use Wind appliance repair from hicksville which gets the worst reviews and is known to rip people off. I could not get an appointment for over a week and this is when my refrigerator smells from gas! After reading the reviews of how they rip people off-I am going to call a private appliance repair with a good reputation. I asked Michele at home appliance to refund me my money for Extended Warranty and she said NO!! I will have to dispute this with media and consumer Affairs because this is a huge scam. they are all horrible there! Years agao when they were in lincoln Shopping Center-they were so nice. this is a different operation now-dont be fooled!!

The Store Manager was shockingly nasty to me over the phone.I looked at the stores online website,and didnt understand why there were no prices next to the individually listed appliances.The store manager responded: "If you are the kind of person who is looking to save $5 on an appliance by shopping price online. YOU DON"T DESERVE OUR LEVEL OF CUSTOMER SERVICE." !!!He went on to trash another local store,telling me that they are dishonest and rip off customers & to trash other appliance stores in general.I had once gone to Hone Appliance and had never gone back,after ,the Manager told me another store that had quoted me a lower price and actually conveyed this lower price to him directly, would raise their price once I was in their store.The other store honored their price. which was substantially lower than his.If this store had the cheapest appliance in town,I wouldnt subject myself to such nastiness .I am so upset such that I am going to call the person who recommended this store and convey this.

Ive only had positive experiences here. Weve purchased our gas stove (Frigidaire - gas range with warming drawer), as well as our TV (Toshiba, passive 3D) at Home Appliance Co. They are accommodating, willing to answer any questions, and helpful even after the purchase. They arent too pushy, especially for a local business, and are willing to show you every option available. They are also very honest, for example, when we purchased the TV, they recommended that we have our contractor, who was already doing work in our house, to mount the TV to save us the money we would have spent on having one of their guys do it. We are thrilled with Home Appliance Co., and will be back to make future purchases.

Very welcoming - I didnt buy anything this time but overheard a salesman giving a lady some good honest money saving advice about the type of microwave she wanted. I was impressed that he wasn;t simply going for the sale but gave her the right advice.

Terrible service, gives wrong information for products purchased. Delivery men, while nice, have NO idea what they are talking about. The owner is rude & hangs up on you if he clearly knows he is in the wrong. Try Best Buy or PC Richard instead.
