Low Hertz

I havent lived in the NY area in 30 years, yet I still am a loyal customer. They have the largest selection of frames, and their staff, which seems to stay with them for decades looks at your face and picks perfect frames out. Nothing else like this exists, and Ive been at both ends of this nation. Nowhere else do they have so many high quality frames, but even better, they know what will look good on your face. No one else keeps staff for decades. And, I have a horrible RX to fill, most get it wrong. But Grand Central Optical, they get it right on. Great optics, top quality materials. They survive not by being the cheapest, they survive for so many decades by being the best and have customers for life, like me. You can go to schlock houses, but for me, crisp vision is something I do not wish to live without. And, they stand behind their work. Bob Comarow

I have been a client of this amazing establishment for 10+ years and have never been disappointed. Over the years I went to many different chain and non-chain stores in search of someone who could provide the quality and service that Grand Central provides. I require high-index multi-vision astigmatism correction and no one other than Grand Central has been able to handle my Rx while providing so many options its always difficult for me to walk out of there with only two pairs. Their frame selection is outstanding and their commitment to customer service is like no other.

They have a great selection and even better customer service. My glasses, which I need desperately, broke and were unfix-able. They were able to make me a new pair immediately. They were perfect! I will be able to use them as a second pair while my new everyday glasses are being made. Thank you!!!!

Overall a great experience. Dr Declemente is a great doctor who did a great job getting my prescription just right. Frame selection is good. The ones i chose are very light and comfortable. Location is very convenient-inside grand central terminal.
