This Optical Warehouse of Greenpoint is across the street from my office, so I figured Id go in and get my contact lens prescription renewed. It was quick and convenient. Dr. Tisdale was AMAZING. She was friendly, professional, and even fun! She’s also the ONLY doctor to have ever recommended a contact lens to correct my astigmatism. This is HUGE. Ive been living with slightly blurry vision in the name of vanity, and in the TEN YEARS Ive had this - shes the first one to shrug and say, "Why wouldnt we give you a lens to correct your vision?" As if it was the simplest thing in the world. And, thanks to technology, it really is. Violet was the customer service lady who did my pre-test and also rang me up for the exam. She’s a peach. Super sweet, no sales pressure, and fun to talk to. I since lost one of my sample lenses and all it took was a quick call to the Optical Warehouse of Greenpoint near my house to get it replaced until my follow-up with Dr. Tisdale next week. I HIGHLY recommend this store. They fit me in for a same day appointment, took great care of me, and were very professional. And NOW?? My vision is crystal clear. Thanks Dr. Tisdale!

I went to get my eyes checked, glasses and contacts. Dr. Yu asked if I knew what it was and I said no I need you to give it to me by testing my eyes. She then rushed through the test, gave me a pair of contacts to put in and wrote out a prescription. I ended up spending $700 on glasses and the tests. I went home and looked at the old prescription and she was off my almost 2 full strengths. I do not know what would have happened to me because I could not see 20/20 and had nothing to see with except a wrong pair of contacts. I called the store and told them to wait on creating the lenses for the glasses while I find time to figure out the right prescription. Now Ive found out that they give no refunds. The only way I can get my glasses is to deal with them further. I use my eyes for my job and have wasted many hours dealing with this company. They are not doing a good job at making any accommodations to a mistake by letting me take my business else where.

Stopped in here for the first time last month as Id neglected to get my eyes checked for quite some time. The optometrist gave me her full attention with a thorough evaluation of my optical health. As it turned out, my eyes had changed quite a bit since my last prescription which meant... time for new glasses! Usually, a new prescription can carry a pretty hefty price-tag, but I walked out of there with quite a bit more cash in my pocket than expected. Designer frames too. Overall, tremendous service, friendly staff and a huge selection of glasses. They nailed my new prescription.

Convenient location.This place offers exams, contact lenses, and eyeglasses. They have a very nice selection of designer frames although I prefer contact lenses. The ladies are super friendly and keep the store tidy and clean. I didnt know I had astigmatism until I came here. The doctor is a cool hipster-y guy who didnt make me feel rushed. There are other doctors I believe depending on the day and time. Overall its a really good place to get your optical health taken care of. Have been coming here for a little more than a year now.

Hands of gold!!! The owners and staff were very knowledgable and professional. The opticians are extremely helpful. I was scared to wear contacts after wearing eye glasses for 8 years, but the opticians were very patient with me, taught me everything I needed to know and made me feel super comfortable. That was such a relief! I know I can rely on this store for all my needs. I will definitely keep going here forever!!

I needed to buy contact lenses so I found on Google Optical Warehouse of Greenpoint. This was close enough to my work, so I went there. Staff was friendly, price - very reasonable!!! I always buy the same type of lenses - Air Optix Aqua, I got what I needed very quickly and was out of store in 10 minutes. Needless to say, I will come back. Hope they will continue with the same high standards.

Excellent customer service!!! I live in Brooklyn, I was warned by a few people that customer service was bad and the workers only catered to polish people. I decided to check it out for myself. It is NOT true. This optical store was very helpful. Fit me in for an eye exam. Glasses were done the same day. I am glad I check it out for myself. And you should too!!!!

Absolutely lovely, friendly and competent staff and the doctor who examined me found that one of my eyes had too strong a prescription for a decade. I actually see more clearly now and am dumbfounded at my previous optometrists who completely misdiagnosed me! Thank you!!!

This is the worst optometrist i have been to, please dont go to this place, they are so rude, they dont know how to treat people. There are many out there where you could go. I would not even give them 1 star, no way but i had to if not i couldnt post my review.
