I really dont like to leave bad reviews, but this place is a horrible, degenerate, cesspit of a company. If I could give them zero stars and guarantee their extinction... I definitely would. The reason why Designer Optics gets 1 star from me is because I ordered 2 pair of Nike Frames, both with prescription lenses. I bought one as my primary and one as a spare. After about 3-4 months of wearing the glasses I realized that there were significant scratches on the lenses. I couldnt understand how this had happened since I have owned several pair of glasses before these and they never got scratched so fast and so bad. I called Designer Optics and they told me that they would replace the lenses for a small fee of about $85 so I sent them in and they replaced the lenses. In the meantime I started wearing the spare frames. Its very important to understand that I decided that I would be EXTRA careful with the spare frames and I took an abundance of caution when taking them on and off. I carried an additional eyewear case with me everywhere, just in case I needed to take them off, I would have somewhere safe to put them. Before I could get the my primary frames back from Designer Optics the secondary pair were scratched up. I have concluded that the prescription lenses that come with the frames are very cheap and in all honesty they probably scratch up from just wearing them or coming in contact with the air. I can trace the scratches to no cause or fault of my own. I do believe that anti scratch coating or whatever are suppose to come with the lenses, but these lenses get scratched for no reason at all. I have owned many frames before, and I have never experienced anything like this. I point the blame at the grimy, lying, and manipulative company called Designer Optics. I emphasize that the problem is with the lenses, not the frames. This cursed company stinks, and it is hands down the absolute worst company I have ever dealt with. I should have listened to the one and two star reviews on here, I am full of regrets that I ever gave this company a chance. Those low reviews are there FOR A REASON. HEED THE WARNING BEFORE ITS TOO LATE. This bottom feeder regressed company doesnt deserve your time, money, or anything. Their corrupt and degenerate practices that they maliciously use to target their customers with will be their disgraceful downfall and eventual extinction. I hope Designer Optics dies a horrible, painful, slow and epic death... full of suffering and agony all the way to the freaking end.

PLEASE DO NOT MAKE A PURCHASE FROM THEIR ONLINE WEBSITE. First off, I usually trust a website that has at least 3 stars knowing that not everyone can be pleased. To me, it seemed like a reputable website so I went ahead and ordered a pair of Prada sunglasses. I am located in NY and the store front is located in NY so I figured I would receive them relatively quickly. Lets start off with the fact that after I ordered them, (THE NEXT DAY) my credit card information had been hacked. Upon reading more reviews, I realized that I was not the only one whos credit card info was hacked from this website. THAT IS ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS. So anyways, I ordered them on the 5th of April. And the store conveniently went on Passover holiday from the 10-19. One week went by and then two weeks had gone by and I still did not receive my sunglasses but had to wait until today to contact them. I ordered a pair of sunglasses that I knew were no longer in stock through Sunglass Hut or through Prada. I figured they had a few pairs left in stock in their warehouse or wherever they hold their sunglasses as they still had them labeled in stock on their website. I spoke to a woman today who told me that they had not even received them from the warehouse. She also said that they knew that CC info was being hacked but that they had addressed and fixed this with their processing company. CLEARLY they did not fix this because I ordered my sunglasses on the 5th and reviews with the same problem are dated well before the date I ordered my sunglasses so this is an ONGOING issue. I told the woman that she needed to figure this missing sunglass situation out by tonight and she did. I just received an email stating that I WILL NOT be receiving my sunglasses as they have been discontinued and I am welcome to pick out a comparable pair. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE. They were a very specific pair of sunglasses and there is NO comparable as they had stated they would offer me. That is not good enough. PLEASE DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS WEBSITE. IT IS A TOTAL SCAM.

I wish I could give them a better rating, but after the experience Ive been having with them I cant. I ordered a pair of Coach eyeglasses with prescription lenses from their online store. Initially I was impressed - I received real designer frames at half the cost. I paid for 2 day shipping and got them within a week which was fine - 1 or 2 days to process the order and 2 days to ship. After opening the box and trying them on though I realized they had shipped me the glasses without the prescription lenses I ordered and paid for. They just had the demo lenses. Not a big deal, I just figured I would call customer service and get it sorted out, mistakes do happen. I talked to two different reps for their online customer service. Neither or whom spoke good English, they could hardly understand what I was saying to them and vice versa. The second person even tried to tell me that I didnt order prescription lenses - which is actually listed on my receipt! They eventually told me to just go online and order a new pair of glasses and send these back. I dont trust that they will get my second order correct, or that I will get the refund I am supposed to. I really dont want to give them another $150 before getting refunded for the original incorrect order they sent me. I would be happy to have them send me the correct order with a paid for return mailing label and I would ship back the original frames they sent me back. Just as any other reputable company will do if they made a mistake with the order. I finally called the store front after getting no where with the online reps. At least the store front person could understand me, but alas I was transferred to someone that could help me, and all I was able to do was leave a voicemail. No return call as of yet... If they would just send me the correct order I would give them 5 stars, but due to their rude reps and complete lack of customer service they get 1 star. Not worth it....there are better places to purchase discount designer glasses......

Dont order, your package will never arrive! This is the worst service ever. First, the pair of glasses that I ordered were not on stock and they told me to wait 2 weeks. They put my credit card on hold until the glasses arrived. After 3 months exact, they charged my credit card and emailed me that the glasses were shipped to Netherlands ( without even asking if I still want those glasses, after all it was a $360 pair of glasses and maybe I would have bought them already from a different store). Anyway, I did not say anything about that and I waited for the glasses. After 3 weeks after they shipped, the order did not arrive to the correct address. I called USPS and had to wait a lot to be transferred to USPS International so I can ask where the package is. They told me in Amsterdam to the INTERNATIONAL MAIL CENT and that I would have to call them to reschedule or go there to pick them up. ( Amsterdam is 2 h away from the address where they were supposed to be delivered). I googled the International Mail Cent and there is no phone number or address. I tried calling other postal offices in Amsterdam and the package is not there. Designer Optics told me that they take no responsibility once the package is shipped. So you typically pay for their product and they make it disappear and take no responsibility for it. There have been weeks trying to contact someone that could tell me where did my $360 go and there is no answer. USPS doesnt know either, they just filed a report and told me that I have to wait 3 weeks for a response. I asked Designer Optics for a refund and I got no answer back. I guess following a police report is my next step.
