Never in my life have I experienced a more thorough eye examination as I received from Dr. Hammer. He is a true professional, courteous and patient (I am never really sure which lens is better), this was not a rush job like I received at other optometrists. Jeff, the Optician, and Lisa were really great answering my questions and helping pick out the best frames for me. There was no hard sell or pushing the more expensive "designer" frames. Actually the frames Lisa selected for me were perfect, my wife loved them, and they were at the price point of my meager insurance coverage. Elizabeth, the receptionist was super nice from my first call to schedule an appointment to the day I picked up my new glasses. They even had my glasses ready well before I expected. TI was pleased I went back for a 2nd pair.The whole experience was just great. Most if not all of the staff are local to the area and reflect the values of providing the best service possible. If you need an eye exam or new glasses go to Vision Associates, you will not be disappointed. Robert - Manhattan Beach
