I went in for the first time. Looked around and was overwhelmed by the amount of whole coffee beans that they have on display. Great selection, something for everyone. Went up to the counter and someone from behind there who I couldnt see kinda said can I help you? I said ill just have a coffee please. She poured me a cup of there house blend. I noticed it was almost clear when I got it so I knew it was going to be weak. Left the shop and started to drink the coffee. It was like brown water. No taste and was weaker then Tim Hortons. I would recommend getting something other then the house blend. Pros: good selection, good prices $1.35 for med house blend, cool building Cons: to much selection, staff needs to be more visible, house blend needs to be revamped, overall I would maybe give it one more shot and order something else. If that isnt good I wouldnt go back.

Well, if you are currently unemployed and cannot live without the smell of petruly and B.O., I highly recommend this place. They are open during work hours, I believe they close at 6 during the week and 3 on weekends. And we wonder why starbucks drives places like this out of business? They also close randomly if the mood so suits them. They DO have great coffee and cookies, but you have to catch them when they are actually open, which is a craps shoot. Spend the extra buck and go to Starbucks!

Good place for a coffee, snack, etc. I drink tea and they have a variety of sweet-smelling (long leaf) teas and excellent pastries. Good stuff, reasonably priced; I prefer a local joint like this to Mega Starbucks. Very surprised at the nasty reviews. My visits were in the late afternoon, just before closing time.......didnt pick-up on any attitude issues or bad service. The cute girl behind the counter was helpful - every time.......nice as can be. Good place; give em a shot.

Very rude service today. Girl was counting her tips as I was waiting for my not so great coffee. Was she trying to give me a hint to tip her? She put my coffee down on the counter without saying a wordor wven making eye contact. So I said is that my coffee? Thanks But NO THANKS WILL NOT EVER FREQUENT ORANGE CAT AGAIN. Then to top it off, MY LATTE SUCKED! Would love to have given 0 stars but cant post if I dont

Awesome !!! Starbucks has nothing on "THE ORANGE CAT". My daughter & I enjoyed our time with the ambiance and the coffee, pastries and locals over Thanksgiving weekend. Devils Hole is also well worth the time as it is a level six hiking trail. I look forward to my next visit come the summer of 2015. Randy

What a disapointment, after missing a chance to go in several times due to the crappy hours (nobody drinks coffee on Sunday right?) we finally caught them. While the coffee was pretty good nothing could make up for the service. I guess it fits, an upity little shop with upity little servers.

Friendly staff, quick service, great espresso, comfortable and cute seating area, they crafted the perfect soy latte, and they made an off the menu iced tea. Wonderful experience, this is a must for any coffee drinkers visiting Lewiston.

I absolutely love Orange Cat! The entire staff is so friendly and upbeat and theres almost always good music playing. The atmosphere is so laid back, its a great place to hang out and relax, and the food & coffee is lovely too.
