I only come to this Caribou on occasion but the last few experiences have been strange. The positive: love the atmosphere and drinks. The negative: the parking (cant really fix that though) and the staff. The staff seem to be in fast-mode and are not good listeners. Today I pulled in and was going to pull around the drive-thru (because the drive-thru sign said Open) and found a delivery truck blocking the back. No problem, I started to reverse to park and go inside, but another lady pulled in behind me, also intending to go through the drive-thru. For anyone familiar with that parking lot, this meant we were both stuck in a bad position between busy Maynard Rd and the parked cars. When I did go inside to order, I kindly let the employee know about the truck in case they didnt know and so they could Close the drive-thru while it was blocked (which theyve done before). By her response, she assumed I was complaining about the blockage. I tried to clarify that I was just mentioning the sign so they could change it, but she said technically the drive-thru is open. (Caribou staff--please prevent the headache and pile-up for your customers). Also, two of the other staff behind the counter gave me weird looks during the conversation. Ridiculous strange experience.

To the customer, Stephanie, who accused me of yelling at her: I wouldnt have had to become firm with you had you gotten off your phone while I was trying to verify your order (I recall repeating your order at least twice during our unfortunate encounter). You also told me to put the change into the tip cup then immediately went back to your phone. If it seemed like I threw all three cents in there it was only due to my confusion over your accusation of me yelling at you. Out of the 6 years that I worked for this company, you are the only person to complain about me to corporate; that says a lot more about you than it does about me. I hope that whatever was preoccupying you on your phone worked out & you can start giving the world around you more attention.

A perfect place for unwinding for hours with friends or sitting cozily at a corner with a book. This charming place offers a wide range of tea, coffee and hot chocolate and yes they have a lite variety of most of their beverages. I personally loved their Turtle Mocha, Caramel High Rise, Mint Snowdrift and Blended chai. Calorie watchers would be happy to find delicious oatmeal. Their sandwiches too have mini versions with my favorite being Turkey Sausage Mini.Their scones are a lite too sweet and I havent tried their dessert. Parking is the only concern, however, the shopping centers parking across Maynard comes handy. You can get unique greeting cards, gift items and other souvenirs in this place and the staff is extremely warm.

Note that parking is a NIGHTMARE. Otherwise, great service and friendly people. Coffee is above-average, but they have enough of a variety that youll find something to your tastes. Theyre nice enough to customize it however you want as well. I used to there every week to just hang out with friends and play games (card, board, etc). Then they implemented a no outside drink policy. Reasonable, but enough of an issue that some people in my group decided that Starbucks and such is preferable. Possibly the best Caribou and overall coffee shop Ive been to.

This is my preferred coffee spot inside Cary. Its a little pricey, but the atmosphere is excellent. I also appreciate that drip coffee refills are complimentary. I also like getting a chocolate espresso bean when I get a mocha. Parking can be brutal here. They are landlocked by other businesses, so you just have to hope you can park close to it. But compared to coffee shops in other urban areas its a piece of cake. My wife and I have walked a mile to get a white mocha in Berkeley, so walking across the street for Caribou is no big deal.

I do love the atmosphere here, beautiful interior, lovely fire place, great seating and cute little products for sale. Not to mention all the adorable and yummy snacks and drinks. My only complaint is the limited options. While their coffee is one of the best brews Ive EVER tasted, primarily the daker Sumatran blend, they dont have any flavored roasts or an impressive variety. Holiday specials are offered and they do provide WiFi and an online app with menu. Service is always super great, amazing people.

Great Coffee Horrible Customer Service. Andrew, the barista, shout at me for no reason except I ask him what he said. Please dont yell at those who are not making your day harder. It is not good customer service and it just rude. I have gone here for years. Parking is horrible. Love the coffee but no need to throw change into the cup or yell at me because you are stressed about your day!!! Hope it gets better and I will get my coffee somewhere else to stay out of your way!!!

Calm, laid-back environment. You see people here of all ages, genders, ethnicities meeting to play cards, have a business discussion, work on their PCs, chill with friends.... Its like a mini-cross-section of society! Plus, the staff are awesome, friendly, helpful. If youre a regular, theyll know your name and what you typically like to order. Love the lattes (made with Durham --laurel Counter Culture coffee) and blended drinks, in particular.

It has nothing to do with the coffee shop (the staff is very friendly and the drinks are great), but the parking is terrible. There is a "No Parking" area just past the drive-thru that is never enforced, and as a result, people get pinned in all of the time. Its not worth the aggravation and potential damage to your car just to have a cup of coffee there. Unless the staff starts to enforce the no parking rules, I wont be going back.

This Caribou is a great place to hang out, get work done, or simply relax. Lots of seating including couches or tables and a cozy little fireplace to enjoy. The staff are super friendly. Last time I went there to play guitar with a friend the baristas even invited us back to play a set. The only drawback is the tiny amount of parking, but Ill still drive across town to patronize this coffee shop over others!

Drove across town with the understanding that thier hours were open until 9pm on Sundays, but apparently the staff decided to have an early dismissal? Very annoyed. Based on this value of service I wont be returning. If your closing a business early you need to update your posted times.

I like this location for Caribou. Though getting in the parking lot is a little difficult (you can only enter off of Maynard as if you were heading up towards Walnut). The staff is nice, they have free wifi and you can usually find a nice place to read, study or have a quick meeting.

The only reason its a 4 and not a 5 is the lack of parking. Love Caribou. The staff here is nice and friendly. Plenty of seating inside and out. Love the pumpkin white mocha and their holiday drinks. Great coffee too with plenty of flavor options. Good breakfast sandwiches too.

Delicious breakfast sandwich that is served all day. Casual rustic atmosphere as is expected at a caribou. Friendly staff. Discount if you bring your own mug. Has both tables and over stuffed soft chairs. Parking is permitted across the street but not next door.
