I wrote this on yelp and felt the need to move it over to google Review. Completely Disgusted by the customer service at this game stop. me and a friend entered this gamestop because i wanted to change my Christmas present which was a preorder to another game, and was met with condescending and snarky comments from who i believed was the store manager (ashley). This was friends second time dealing with gamestop and he was unaware of the customs when it came to preorders and how to verify who the name was under. Ashley felt the need to make passive aggressive comments towards my friend for his little knowledge of how gamestop is run. This isnt a one bad day kind of thing because she was my cashier at the lake success gamestop a couple years ago(2012 i believe). I will not be dealing with this gamestop and im advising everyone including my friends and family that if there is any other gamestop near you go that one because this is unacceptable from a store manager. ive given this gamestop 2 stars due to the fact that i was able to get in and out. Go to the lake success gamestop theyre friendly nice and more than welcome to have you ask questions.

This Gamestop outside the mall is really good. I searched every gamestop for a game and some gamecards and I couldnt find them available until I came here. The place is great, its much bigger than the other gamestops around. You have more availability of products in this place. The stuff I looked everywhere for like the gamecards for online game was all here. The people working here are pretty cool, they are just normal guys who loves playing video games. Ask them about some of the games you plan to buy and theyll be honest with you if its any good. They are very helpful and easy to talk to. If all other stores dont have that game or card you are looking for head over to this place. They close a bit earlier than other gamestops so try to make this place your second option if the first gamestop you went to doesnt have what youre looking for. This place is easy to find after you get off te subway station. Check it out and youll like this place better. Happy Gaming!

The employees are very rude. This happened just after the game taken 7 came out. I walked into the store and the girl was on her phone texting. I said "excuse me" she still didnt respond. I said once again "excuse me" 5 seconds later she put down the phone and looked at me. I told her that I had pre-ordered the Taken 7 special edition with the season pass. She told me that they had just sold. And about after 30 seconds of arguing and asking her to get me a new one she said "look I sold it theres nothing I can do. we dont have anymore physical copies, so if you want one with the season pass buy the digital deluxe edition." I told her that if I wanted that I would have ordered that one from the beginning, and left the store. Look save your time and go to the one in bay terrace because these people are very rude

Maybe it was just because I took a quick visit there to only get a gift card that I had such a good experience. Opposed to the employees that are always playing around and dont seem to take their job seriously, the guy I talked to was friendly and helpful, making small talk with me about something pretty crazy hed experienced at the store that kinda related to what I was buying. The store also finally had in stock something I was looking desperately for. Great visit, if I had the chance to come back I gladly would take it.

I placed a game on hold at 10:30 am received the processing email and the confirmation email that they had my game set aside waiting for me to pick up. I get there after work at 6:30 and they said "sorry we sold it 30 minutes ago" Why would you sell an item that was supposed to be on hold for 24hrs? So i basically drove there to pick it up so as to not pay shipping just to find out id have to pay shipping anyway because their employees just give away held items..... what a waste of time

I dont go to this location anymore. Went in to pick up my pre order that I bought online without using my power rewards . They literally said I didnt have a pre-order because it didnt show up on my account. They refused to look up the confirmation number or the email I got after I made the order. The email told me to bring ID and confirmation number to pick up my order. Dont understand why they didnt look up the confirmation number. Pretty frustrating.

Reserved a new game for $20. Had email confirmation. They said they only held it for 1 day even though in the email it clearly says 2 days. They brought out a used copy rather than new and rang it up for $40, which is also the price for a new copy of that game. Really awful would not recommend placing any holds online for this store as they clearly do not comply with the hold policies of Gamestop.

i bought the wii, ps3 and xbox slim from here, the staff was very friendly and helpful. i asked for advice to get games and i trusted their taste and got what they recommended. now im obsessed with the games.they answered all my questions and helped me out to the best deals. i would recommend them to anyone i know.!! awsome job!!

I can for one say that this peticular gs is simple and u can very easily find what you are looking for allthough i do have to say that the service was not good at all and that the workers there are extremely rude

i love this location. Always got a staff that is will to chat about game and show you a few things. You would love it here and come visit buy a few games and youll come back for sure.
