They DENTED the hood of my car!!! They dented the hood of my car and didnt tell me. I noticed it before I left their lot. They kept me waiting while the regional manager reviewed their video and then told me that from the angles of their camera, they didnt see anything happen. Then when I asked them to look and see on the video that my car wasnt dented when they first drove it in, the store manager said they couldnt tell because there was a glare in the video!!! I went a step further and asked the guy who did my oil change if he noticed a dent when he opened the hood and his answer was I cant say that I did and I cant say that I didnt. And then explained that he opened the hood without looking at it. Spent ove $1,100 with them getting new tires, an oil change and an inspection and they DENTED my hood!! DONT BRING YOUR CAR TO MAVIS!!!

Ive never had a bad experience whenever I bring my car in for something, whether it would be tires, flat fix, alignment or minor adjustments. If a part failed to show, or if they were going to be late in getting the car back to me, I usually get a call. After something was done, like an alignment or tire balance, and I thought something was off, Id bring it back and it would be corrected promptly. No hassle or red tape. Thursdays are usually best, since its their late night and fits my schedule better. Pricing is fair, and the new kiosks in the showroom are great for picking the services you want, translates to less time when you get to the counter. Now that Tom and Fred are back in Farmingdale, you couldnt ask for a better team.

Going there many years, Fred & Ed used to be the Managers and they were great. Recent changes to staff, still great service. Had car inspected, lower control arm was rotted and needed replacing. One of the Mgrs. told me that there was a recall on this, maybe you can get money back from Hyundai (this car is a 2001). I checked on line, there was. Wrote some emails, submitted bills, pictures, etc. Was sent to a dealer to inspect that the part was replaced, they confirmed it and also replaced the other control arm under the recall campaign. Sure enough I got a check under the good will customer program plus a free repair, all because Mavis guys knew their stuff.

Went in because engine was hesitating. Error code was random misfire. Estimate for 6 spark plugs, 6 coils and valve cover gasket was $1,250. After discussing with multiple mechanics I realized this was an extremely outrageous price and should be in the $600-$800 range. Thats assuming I even needed to replace all 6 coils. After several uncomfortable conversations, they dropped the price $200. I later brought the car to another mechanic and they said it was a sloppy job and that it was obvious that the person that did the job didnt know what he was doing. I was taken advantage of.

I do most of my own service on my cars. So I know something about repair. Every person that I have dealt with here has been ever so nice, courteous and on top of it very knowledgeable. My last experience, the person that I dealt with, was ever so nice and knowledgeable. They take you into the shop and show you what they found on your car. I recommend this place to friends and would also recommend that you bring your car here and leave happy !

Quality experience at this Mavis location. They were very thorough with the car, installed everything the right way, were careful with my powdercoated rims, and did a professional job on the wheel alignment. Everyone exuded professionalism at this location. Although I was waiting nearly 3 hours for the entire job to be done, it was worth the wait because I can say with confidence they did a quality job that was worth every penny.

I called this place on Sunday to arrange a repair...the guy said no appointment needed. Just bring it down and well take care of you. Not a problem I said. I took the day off from work. I take it down only to have the guy tell me that not only can he not the job they promised they could, he also said that nobody would have told me that they could. I love mavis tire but this left a nasty taste in my mouth.

The absolute worst service. Dont ever, ever, ever go here. They charged me for a wheel alignment and never did it. I gave them multiple chances to redeem themselves and theyve let me down every time. They keep your car for the whole day when they promise a 30 min job. A bunch of scums.
