just one star cause there no option to put zero... definitive UNIQUE got the award to the worse thrift store in long island.. price are so high for used items, is much cheap go to places on the mall... i not recommend this store ... no even when they have 50% off price getting more high so u really dont save any...... solamente una estrella pues no esta la opcion de ponerle cero, definitivamente unique se gano el premio de la peor tienda de segunda en long island.. precios estan muy altos por articulos , es mas barato ir al mall.. no recomiendo esta tienda, ni si quiera cuando tienen 50% de descuento porque ponen los precios mas altos , al final no ahorras nada...

Our very first time at a thrift shop. I dont have any other experience to compare with. My daughter wants a DIY project. We went on Youtube for ideas. One video show a beautiful piece found at thrift shop. We google and found the store. We called to ask if they have the night stand. The gentleman said he has a couples. My daughter and I set out on a hunt. We found perfect pieces that we need right away. What a bargain??? We were in and out in less than half an hour including a gentleman help us carried the items and haul in our SUV. $40.00 for two very beautiful night stand. Now we just need the weather to get warmer to get our project started. Most of the staffs speak Spanish. They are very nice and helpful. Shoppers are very nice as well. We told one of the shopper what we are looking for and she even direct us to where to find more. We absolutely love what we found. Hopefully it wasnt a beginner luck.

Unless you know exactly what you need and can test things before you buy them, you shouldnt buy any electronics here. A PCMCIA slot wireless NIC card that I wanted for an old Windows XP laptop didnt come its driver disc and when I got it home, I found it was broken - complete trash. Ive seen IT people from the Cradle of Aviation museum in Uniondale come here when they need second-hand CRT televisions to keep the attractions at the museum functioning. Ive found a few super-rare video games and a few out-of-print VHS tapes here. The very few desktops Ive seen here have their parts ripped out. The very few laptops Ive seen here have been *very* old units that usually have dead batterys.

Came here for the first time & I liked it a lot! A good amount of name brand clothing! Some still with tags on them. Others in wonderful condition. This location is WAYYYY better than the one on Old country road. I would recommend anyone who hasnt been here to give it a try. Household items still in good condition as well. I notice the prices are going up. Its used items; give me a break.

None of the employees speak any English and they will often refuse a sale. I believe most of them are definitely sporting an extra chromosome , no wonder they are working here. You are much better off going to Savers or Goodwill there you will be treated like a human being. They also like to put absolute filth for sale at ridiculous prices, this location is for the birds

Helpful staff. Easy to navigate the racks. But some crazy prices. Found a vase marked with a TJMAXx tag for $4.50.. but Unique priced it at $7.99! Ditto a used hair dryer at same price as new.

Have found some great bargains including a solid wood dining room table from the 50s and 60s in black, have been looking for one forever, only paid $10.00!
