I can see that Walmart is trying to improve the store. Remodeling etc. The problem is the store is way too small for the needs and size of the community. Parking is dangerous and not enough spaces. Limited amount of stock in store due to the small store size. Also basics like cleanliness is also a problem. 2 days ago I was in this store it was a mess due to remodeling and unfortunately I used their ladies bathroom. It was absolutely filthy. First thing when I walk in I can barely see as it is so dark because all but one small light were burned out and non functioning. Inside the stalls there was used toilet paper all over the floor. The floors were wet with urine and the smell was very bad. No paper seat protectors available. Also no paper hand towels, dispenser empty, soap empty as well. The worst part was I saw 3 different female employees enter the bathroom, use the bathroom and leave not washing their hands and NEVER said a word about the disgusting condition of the bathroom. Not a pleasant shopping experience to say the least. So sad because I have been in several other Walmart stores in other states and they are very nice. Why cant we have a nice store in Danbury ????

This store provides one of the worst shopping experiences youll ever have to endure. The parking lot is always full and inadequate for a Walmart. The checkout lanes are always full with tons of customers and the least amount of checkers available. The store is over-shopped and things are in complete disarray finding something can be quite a task. Forget asking employees they are always walking around but not ever doing any real work meanwhile tons of customers wait for assistance in electronics. To sum it up this place is one of the most disgusting over crowded places Ive been and the prices arent even that great. Our family shops at Target and there is a major difference between the two stores, and if Target has a higher price just bring in the Walmart flier and they will match it, or any other store as well!

A lot of things can change in a year and needless to say a wave of fear washed over me as I reentered my favorite Walmart during my annual trip to Danbury, Connecticut. Thankfully I was more than relieved to see that nothing about this place had changed.... for the most part. The "easy to find" layout of the store had remained unmolested and the Laissez-faire attitude was still very much instilled in their employees. However I was disturbed to find that this Walmart no longer carries Ben and Jerrys ice cream. Thats right, no Ben and Jerrys, the Cadillac of the ice cream world. The overall enjoyable mood of my last shopping experience were still felt regarless gars so im willing to forgive them. I look forward to my next visit a year from now! #UDMC

Ive been standing at the pick up area for 20 minutes now and since its in the back of the store at least 15 employees have walked by me and only one nice gentlemen has offered to call someone. Of course, that was 10 minutes ago and no one has come. Its a better alternative to pay the shipping and have it shipped directly to your house. I had enough time to get mad enough to write this review while standing here waiting and log in to my gmail account, if anyone if wondering no one has come to help yet. Im just going to assume its self serve at this point. If 0 stars was an option thats would have been my choice

Over the last dozen years of moving around to dif military bases Ive been to Walmarts in all parts of the country. This is By far the very worst of all! Dirty, Rude and ignorant staff, about 2X smaller than it should be for the area, rediculously inadequate parking. I agree with the last post about the customer stereotyping but that is the area. This is reflected in the quality of this walmart. Disgusting. Walmart you need to fire everyone hire new staff fix the parking, and actually stock the place. Last Sat 20 + checkout counters 6 checkers, and 100s of customers. Really?

The reason why this place is terrible and a lot of other Walmart is because they believe in brainwashing their employees by telling them do not go with Union you have no job security they can fire you on the spot all the employees are out to get each other there is no teamwork I believe all Walmarts should change their policy in 2011 I went in there as a seasonal cashier couple of days later I ended up being in the electronics department sales boosted but yeah a lot of people hated me that work there and a couple of issues have been there which I will still keep private

Well what can be said, extremely rude staff, dirty, parking lot is a disaster. Had to go there once because I had to fill a prescription and my other local options were closed until the next day. Everyone knows there is a Costco on Federal road right? They pay there employees livable wages, the store is clean and staff are friendly..... they do not get there employees from the work for welfare program. Never shop Wallmart... I have lost a part of my soul when I steeped foot into that store.

This place is a fine place to shop at...u ever shop at a Walmart in tha hood? Didnt think so ! and believe me u want to see a Walmart that doesnt care? go to your nearest hood and shop their youll have a whole new respect for this Danbury Walmart... This place is clean cut and handles the over crowding well. I like it here and Im happy to see somebody at the register every time when at the walmarts in the hood..not such a nice atmosphere...good job Danbury Walmart keep up the good work!

The place is a dump. No one speaks English, most of the staff are rude ( if you dont like your job quit), cant find anything, chaotic inside and out, isles are unbarable small and youre lucky if you can move two carts at the same time. Theres never enough lines opened to pay for items (extremely slow). The Danbury Walmart needs to see how clean and friendly the New Milford Walmart is, matter of fact go down South and see how things are run there. Extremely clean, friendly, spacious.

For over 25 years, I have shopped at Walmart. Unfortunately, every year I see it decline more and more in cleanliness and organization. I it is frequently dirty and cluttered. I frequently find packages have been opened and am afraid that if I purchase the item it will be missing important parts. I used to buy all my paint there to paint rooms in my house but stopped attempting to buy it at Walmart because I cannot find anyone to wait on me in the paint department!

Awful place to shop if you do not speak spanish. Store is messy, difficult to get help, many employees speak no english at all, parking lot is a disaster. If you place an order on line for store pick up, allow yourself at least an hour to pick up item. Its difficult to get someone at the pick up counter and then it will take 3 people the next 45 minutes to find your item and even longer to finish the transaction. This has happened 3 times to me. Never again.
