There is a great article in Newsday June 29 2014 LI Life section. It is a nonprocfit camp for girls 7-11 from low income families on Long Island. This year is its 100th anniversary. For the girls who attend, it is free due to the generosity of many benefactors who give their time and money. Ive lived in the area for more than 30 years and I never knew this place existed. Thanks to the volunteers and donors. Hope you keep it up for another 100 years.
